Without a doubt, the BEST build ever! I have watched thousands of van build videos. This is exactly what I would like for my build. Every detail is perfect. Well done! Cheers!
Beautiful home you two have created. Love the dark color and wood really looks great. The custom bathroom door is amazing!! Kudos to the person that designed and constructed it.
Love everything about your rig. Colour scheme is great. Love the army drab green and the inside colour choices. Minimalist design. Nice all around! Thanks.
Great Build! When we installed Arctic Tern windows in our Sprinter we rotated the screen/solid panel so the solid pulls up from the bottom and the screen pulls down from the top. Being able to pull up the solid offers more privacy for us.
The way you did your couch is how I setup mine also. Mine lays flat for an extra bed as well. Definitely makes sense if you’re about the comfort level.
Awsome build! Working on a 29 ft Coachmen/Catalina rn. I want to build it out nice, but it's SO BIG. I want to sell it after everyrhing is done and buy an Ambulance to build out next... Definitely some cool ideas!
Very Nice Rig, I too have a black sink, scrub it clean like normal and then put a few dabs of mineral oil on a paper towel and wipe it down.... It'll look brand new. Safe travels 🙏
Love it! I could happily live in there. As I wouldn’t need motorbike storage, I’d used a bit of the garage space to store the toilet on a low draw mount that can be pulled into the shower area when needed, but put away for more space when showering (with a waterproof door closing it off of course). And I’d use some of the garage for more clothes storage 😅 Otherwise, this is a perfect rig. 👍
Hey you two are living the dream! I haven’t been following you, but I’m going to check out your series. Aside from the amazing build, I like that you both are humble and down to earth. Ride on!
I've watched hundreds of biuld videos and this is one of the best and nicest I've seen. I don't want to spend 250,000 to 500,000 on a expedition vehicle
Yes, we plan on adding underbody storage at some point. Got burned out so we did not end up doing that yet. We specifically avoided diesel. Have had them in the past and much prefer gasoline.
We like the designing aspect but the building…not sure how much we enjoy that 😊 We were thankful this time around we didn’t have to do a lot of the build aspect. It also allowed us to film the build series on Tiny Home Tours channel.
Yes, we plan on doing that at some point. That would add a ton of additional storage. Got a bit burnt out on the build process so we haven’t done it yet.
Wow, awesome build. Congratulations ! I'm very interested in interior width and height and also an estimate on how heavy is the box with everything inside because we don't have those huge ford trucks in Europe and I was wondering what other truck will be able to carry a box like that because it seems very wide and tall in the video. Thanks.
The box itself is 14 ft long x 8 ft high so pretty near that on the interior with the insulation/walls taking a bit away from that. Actual height is right around 11.5 ft and our total length is around 25 ft (a number we wanted to stay close to for maneuverability, etc). Our weight is around 14,000 (not as heavy as we were expecting it to be).
@abeandmel thanks for the reply. How wide it is ? The total length is to much for Europe if you want to go through remote places in nature or narrow streets in the city or public parking lots but I totally love your design and I wish something similar.
@@thatscrazy4487 Just a bit under 8 ft in width. Totally understandable on the length. The 25 ft is right on that threshold for us where above that is where we’d find it very difficult to move around as easily. With the motorcycles that helps as well when we are parked up.
Looks great but i hope there's somekind of strenghtening on the underside of the box where the rear wheels are situated. Without a wheelwell protecting the box a lot of mud & gravel will start to get caked on the underside. Rocks will get flung against the box , twice more than normal with it being a dually ! Pretty strange , especially for an off-road going vehicle ... That's just my opinion & view , nothing more
Amazing build, I love it! To bad you didn't have room to put your stove on a popup shelf so it's out of the way when not in use and just raises up when needed. Congrats!
Absolutely fantastic, and no disrespect to you both, but I nay have to do this to get free stuff, although I'm from the UK 🇬🇧 what a great way to make money 👍 so easy ❤
Yes, most of this style should be equipped to handle that. Granted if it’s REALLY bad they might take some damage. We’d probably look for an overhang or something.
You have not used the space under the box. It offers much space without necessarily sacrificing ground clearance, depending on your design. I like your rig; it's well-designed and executed.
*"It's in their genes"* - Donald Trump responding to far-right, conservative podcaster Hugh Hewitt's on-air podcast comment about the propensity of immigrants (Latinos) to commit crimes days before the election. Days later minorities and Caucasians barely re-elected Donald Trump. Shame on everybody who voted for Trump and shame on America.Literally shame on America. Who could have predicted that mostly Republicans, many claiming to be Christians and especially minorities supporting Eugenics in the 21st century? Those claiming the USA is not a racist country in the 21st century must erroneously deny objective evidence as proven in this last election.
That’d add additional length and we wanted to stay around 25ft. We’d also be paranoid of them getting stolen. I’d have to think on what we’d have done differently but probably adding underbody storage (which we can still do). Also it still can be a fairly rough ride depending on terrain so doing something a bit more with suspension. Some things we just didn’t have the budget for so hopefully can be done down the line.
Without a doubt, the BEST build ever! I have watched thousands of van build videos. This is exactly what I would like for my build. Every detail is perfect. Well done! Cheers!
Aww Thank you! Means so much!
@@abeandmelWhat micky said. 👍
@@kayfabe591 thank you thank you 🙏🏻
Sure is!
its a box truck, if you getting a van, you will have more space
Beautiful home you two have created. Love the dark color and wood really looks great. The custom bathroom door is amazing!! Kudos to the person that designed and constructed it.
Yes, the door turned out perfect!
This couple is so gentle and kind and I think that contributes to the interior of the van...it gives off vibes of tranquility ❤
Thank you so much❤
Awesomely amazing built. It has everything a guy and girl can ask for. Great Job!!!
You got that right! Thanks for watching
Love everything about your rig. Colour scheme is great. Love the army drab green and the inside colour choices. Minimalist design. Nice all around! Thanks.
Minimalistic is a huge part of this lifestyle. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it

Wow, so nice. So happy for them!

Gorgeous and what a perfect layout.
It's absolutely fab!
This is beautifully done built. Very kool.
Thank you!

Looks amazing! Can't wait to see it in person 😁
Can’t wait to show you!!!
Very nice build . Congratulations. You did a great. A dark interior is great if you’re in a hot area!
Thanks! 👍
Impressive. Super clever & beautiful.
It's like one of the best builds I've seen on youtube, just so well planned and cool

Those are great ideas and definitely would have a TON of added room/storage without the motorcycles.

Thank you so so much! The diy and custom approach makes it more affordable for sure
This is really great! Love the color... my car is this color!! Great bathroom.
Awesome! Do you have an outback?
I do!
With all the frame space, there is room for some additional storage, or a generator, or both. I think this is a gasoline truck, which is good.
Yes, we plan on adding underbody storage at some point. Got burned out so we did not end up doing that yet. We specifically avoided diesel. Have had them in the past and much prefer gasoline.

is the pull up bar custom or did you purchase it?
That was custom.

Colors turned out so great!! 🚛
Does the bag on the front bumper make your truck run hotter from the lack of air flow?
This is a awesome thuck
When is the full build series being posted? 😉
Tomorrow! Stay tuned! Super exciting five part build series starting tomorrow!

How much did you spend to build it? And do you have any blue prints?

Wondering should you encounter a hail storm how you protect solar panels? Are solar panels robust enough to handle large hail?
Yes, most of this style should be equipped to handle that. Granted if it’s REALLY bad they might take some damage. We’d probably look for an overhang or something.
Where did you get the backup camera for your vehicle?
That is linked in the blog post in the description. Its from Carpuride. Works great.
@abeamdmel can you share with us what are the dimensions of your shower?
What is the brand and model of the counter top portable stove you pulled out of your cabinet?
It is an AMZCHEF induction cooktop
You have not used the space under the box. It offers much space without necessarily sacrificing ground clearance, depending on your design. I like your rig; it's well-designed and executed.
im curious to find a shop where i can have the box built... and know the price.$
We bought the empty shell from a Morgan dealer.
@@abeandmel I will do the same but 16'ft.
What is dimension on the house?
It is 14 ft long and 8 ft high.
The house is designed well however in my opinion the colour makes it look small & dark.
Color scheme's definitely not for everyone but we love it. Thank you for watching.
(Im not enjoying the Harris advertising.) Your rig is awesome.

What would have done differently? I’m a moto enthusiast and I would love to bring my bikes but why not mount to the outside of the rig?
That’d add additional length and we wanted to stay around 25ft. We’d also be paranoid of them getting stolen. I’d have to think on what we’d have done differently but probably adding underbody storage (which we can still do). But is it emp proof
Haha, not sure. Hopefully won’t have to find out.
Of all the builds I’ve seen, this is my absolute favourite!
