I haven't heard this since Catholic school almost 40 years ago and it brought me to tears thinking about watching .my mom direct the choir with the HUGE old pipe organ accompanying them. I can remember the smell of incense burning and smooshing my face against the freezing stained glass windows. And how my sister and I would get scolded because we'd scratch off the ice and eat it. they would be frosted up even inside from the chill of the ice cold Minnesota winter winds. We couldn't wait for Communion because we knew church was almost over ( an hour was a lifetime at that age) and we could go to the church basement for a pancake breakfast with a smorgasbord of only the best homemade cooking you'll ever eat. I miss those days when life was simpler. I'll never forget that feeling of belonging and love. 🙏
