    • @HESHRocketWarhead
      @HESHRocketWarhead 3 роки тому +10

      First shot, everyone runs into cover.
      Second shot, they track where your weapon sounds are coming from.
      Third shot, they spot your muzzle flash.
      This game also tends to highlight that as well. Firing three unsuppressed shots from the same location oftentimes has all nearby enemies instantly detect you.

      It really depends on the objective for the sniper/ sniper team. When used in an offensive role (move to a location -> find a good firing position -> eliminate important targets), you are right.
      When used in a defensive rolle, however (doing overwatch for other troops clearing houses, holding important, fortified positions, etc.), Snipers can often stay in one position even for prolonged firefights, because that position is defended and set up to offer the highest amount of advantage possible (good elevation, cover, ammo, etc.).
      In a situation like that, the enemy will know you are there anway, because THEY are the ones attacking the snipers faction.

    This is normal game play for me tbh. I'm serious, I try to stealth, control the engagement and make sure I always got a bug out plan.
    That and that tower? I take shots at the courtyard of the manor from it. A good way of getting some distance. Good way to learn patience too.

      One of my favourite shots is in the level with the Artillery Train on the Viaduct bridge. From your insertion point, you can spot an enemy Sniper on the bridge. Generally speaking, you always want to find them before they find you, since you both share the same (Or similar) weapon and visual range. Gameplay-wise, you can see the sniper but not the inverse. Realistically, it's fair game on who sees who first. The shot itself is a 500m+ shot, easily an A-grade shot, but I've pulled it off twice, I think. One of them was an eye shot, clean through the enemy Sniper's scope.

    The gameplay is: He needs to time his shots to the airplane noise or else everyone will locate his loud rifle, at least on the second shot. The Welrod pistol is for close range stealth, and the Thomson is for panic. If you are spotted you have to hide and let things cool off, or kill every witness before they call for backup.

    Richard likes this game due to the realism, but also realises that he sucks at the game.
    It'd be nice to see Richard paired with an expert gamer to let him experience the game better.
    Like either the gamer plays it for him, or backseat games/coaches him about basic stuff, like say, the arrow turning red is the enemy's perception of you, and when it's filling up, you should move behind cover to avoid detection. Things like that.

    Hey , I know this is 10 months old but a couple things : you can hide in the bushes , you can set traps when you go to your sniper nest and use can mask your shots but messing with the generators or firing when noises like air planes and what not are present . Also You can shoot the testicles off Nazis and the wel rod is very quite . If you get the DLC , you get the Desalle carbine that is suppressed and nobody can hear you . In a lot of missions I do what I call shrub take downs. You basically hide in the bush or behind wall or something , whistle or throw a stone and lure them in and take them out nice and quite. Sneaking up on a guy and taking him out is fun . You should try sniper elite 5 btw . Great graphics . The best mission in sniper 4 is the dock yard btw . Any time you get to a sniper nest in this game , be sure to use teller or trip bombs to at h your six and use masking from generators or other sound sources . Oh one other thing : in sniper 5 you can knock people unconscious. Then you can take them and drop them into the water and they drown . I often will use bodies of Nazis Killed as bate for patrols , so I can trap say a dude I killed with a grenade and then when a large contingent drops but in a truck , I can get a multi kill . In sniper 4 you can get atop the crane tower and watch as tanks , vehicles and personnel are destroyed by your explosive traps . Just a fun as hell game . The hardest sniper is sniper elite 2 . I played it at the realistic level took me a long time to beat it .
