I'm 55 years old now, but I always felt that's just a number. My physical self may change but my heart will always be young, as young as when I'm in 80's and living the dream. Wish I could go back and forget this present time full of chaos, violence and war.
GREAT JOB DEB.CALHOUN COLT FROM A CLARKE RAM FROM WESTBURY
Yeah I'm 55 too, know what you mean. Just met my best mate stella and she's still my rock 34 years later
Is this the actual Debbie Gibson texting this? If so, this is truly outta the blue.
Nope. Miss Debbie is 52 right now
51 .....80s forever....21 st can go to hell,...
No tattoos, no piercings needed to impress, just Dance 80s' music, with Debbie Gibson in it!!
She was fortunate to have sane parents who weren't trying to live off of the money she made and to have seemingly ethical managers. She never had the fame that Britney Spears had but Debbie Gibson was/is a 1000 times better singer and her songs were actually HITS. She was wholesome and wasn't a bad influence on my generation like Britney is. Debbie is now a stable adult who never self-destructed.
You can almost never find that today
True from the comment above
Debbie was more wholesome then and Brittny was more of an out there kind of girl; both had similar, but different talents, both young and impressionable, different extremes...
Debbie and Tiffany, both so amazing. And here I am, a 52 guy listening to heavy metal and NU metal all the time...
How do you know she didn't have issues everyone has something it was a different time all together lol we know nothing of her life issues unless you where there 😂
Debbie Gibson has the voice like a mini Olivia Newton John. It's fresh, sweet and wholesome. Her Out Of The Blue has brought us back into the light. A real pop treat!
She also played Sandy in Grease the musical
And another Baphomet worshipping celeb to get that 'mark' of acknowledgement in the hideous Hellywood status 👿 666
Remember that symbol hand 👌 which is a 6
Whitesnake.
Voices like butter!
I always thought she sounded like Olivia Newton-John in this song.
This song just brings back so many memories of 1987-88. It's hard to believe that a song could bring back fond memories.
It won't come back because we all in our 50&60
My favorite Debbie Gibson song
Donald m campbell out of the blue debbie gibson
She's Gen X answer to Taylor Swift🤘
I'm 51. The second I hear that intro I instantly go back to when I was 16 that summer. How my friends & I were in high school driving around and just being goofs. I absolutely love this song. So much nostalgia that goes thru me. How I wish I could do it all over again. And I had the biggest crush on her. 😊😊😊
She’s so adorable
Back when life was so simple. Turn on the radio, sit down, relax, listen, enjoy time as it pass by slowly. Good thing memories remain and songs such as this are here to remind us of those precious years.
I wish it passed much slower. Remember giving the eye roll to my parents every time they said to slow down and stop trying to grow up so fast.... Wish I'd listened..
Im a 45 year old man and I am dancingnto this song wit my daughters age 6 and 8. What an awesome song I didnt know.
i think this is the best song ever from debbie gibson
Debbie Gibson was so so pure she never compromised her own identity For the music industry … she never resorted to being a sexual musical artist to sell records.. yet she was and still is beautiful woman
So true!!!
She was so pretty
About to turn 50 and this takes me back! To be young again.
This is proper pop music
It is
M Y G O D . . . The QUIENTESSENTIAL late 80's video. The hairstyles, costumes, back-up singers, the guitar solo, the video cuts, pans, and edits, the overweight drummer . . . (my apologies Mr. Drummer, I'm there now) . . . so very strange to be able to look "back" on such things from 35 years later and remember when it was current. Wow.
Every generation does that. It's not unique to you. Lol
Here I am 35 years later still listening to this classic. I absolutely loved Debbie. Grew up listening to her music.
I bet you didn't know. Debbie said on her UA-cam channel that her Mom passed away last month. Sad. 😥😥
Me, too! Me, too … 🥰 Sure miss those sweet innocent days of jelly shoes, pink boom boxes, charm necklaces and pop stars! Especially Debbie Gibson!! 🤗💖💃🎶👏
My daughter loves it too ❤️❤️
@@laurenkochan960 I'd love it if those charm necklaces were popular again! 😍
I'm a millennial but I prefer Debbie Gibson songs than the trash of today
Smart it was so much better then I miss those days
Australia's version of Debbie Gibson was the singer Delta Goodrem. Both of them signed record deals as young teenagers. Both were piano playing singers and songwriters. I really liked Debbie's early albums. Later on Debbie changed her sound and songwriting style to be more "modern". Delta has mostly stayed the same, songwriting wise, as her first album.
Just lost a close cousin of mine this morning, we grew up on this music. I am going to miss him so much
What do you admire most about Debbie
Takes me back 35 years...just like that.
She was only 17 when she sang that song shes my favorite singing artist
Wrote and sang...
35 years later... Them 80s was everything!
The 80's is the legend of all decade's.
I'm 52 still listening to her!!
Iam right with you on that I just turned 53 myself and I was 16 when that came out. It's still a jem in my young @heart self.
I had the record, NERD!
I'm 53 years old
I just turned 53 on the 7th of March and had a UA-cam time travel back to the 80's.
how the heck did the 80s fly sooooo fast!?? i remember all this like it was just 5 min. ago!! but i loved her out of the blue album for many years! still listen to it from time to time.
One of the BEST 80s pop songs, hands down.
We were blessed to have grown up the 80’s and heard the music from these “teen idols” like Debbie Gibson and Tiffany. They were nothing like today’s young artists that try to be “cool” and are raunchy, immoral, vulgar, half naked, etc. No tattoos, body piercings, plastic surgery, just humble ordinary teen girls who behaved and dressed like the rest of us, and were clean, chaste, upright, and were beautiful and sexy, but wholesome! Plus they were incredibly talented singers who were genuine and sincere with their music. They were great role models for other teens, and this is what we desperately need now days with the direction that society is heading.
My era growing up in the 80s loved this tune. Had Debbie Gibson albums on my cassette tape on my Walkman back in the days 😂❤🎶
Same, lol
Giving off that blossom vibe. I would say they both did pretty well in life.
I miss1987. The music, The Florida Sunshine parachute pants, mullets and checkerboard vans.
I miss this kind of era😩💗
I remember seeing her in concert in 1989 for my 16th birthday
I miss the 80's
I love the enthusiasm of the drummer in this video.
It brings back the 80s memories
i wish teenager again in the 80s again
Everyone else can have 2020, please send me back to 1987 and let me stay there. Miss those days, hate these days.
Josh B that’s a fact
Yes!!!!
I'd go back too, but only if I could take my wife and kids with me
Oh,if you ONLY knew.😣😥😪😔☹️🙁😖😞😟😢😭😩😰😠😡🤬
I know just what you mean take away all this social media what's damaging peoples lives.
There is something with Debbie Gibson that makes people happy and inspired
True!
Out Of The Blue by Debbie Gibson is a classic and marvelous 80s type of song. My hubby singing along to part of the song just seconds ago-heartwarming.
I miss the innocence of the 1980's.
Innocence or ignorance?
@@christhornycroft3686 Smart and Innocence .
@@christhornycroft3686 Innocence... like keeping clothes on.
ignorance WHY???
@Bill Thompson I once dreamed that Madonna was Satan. Madonna's music & style became more trashy around 1990 with Vogue. Joan Jett didn't have any particular reputation that anyone talked about (as far as I recall). Debbie Gibson is 12 years younger than Madonna & Joan Jett.
There's a lot of good music in other decades but no other decade will ever beat the 80s. The variety and quality of music back then is absolutely unbeatable.
@Apolonio Romero Jr., Debbie Gibson rocked. Tiffany was probably my favorite but Debbie was right there as well. Class, talent, and clothing. That's why the 80s rocked.
The 80s is the golden era of music, its when the king, queen, prince, princess and even gods of music existed in the same timeframe
harrylongbaugh1 Guns n Roses, Jon Bon Jovi, U2, David Bowie, Prince, Slayer, Phil Collins, ...the pop music got Michael Jackson, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Wham!, Air Supply, RICK ASTLEY, Debbie Gibson, some musicians emerged in earlier decades but peaked in the 80s it’s actually the music itself launched and popularised in the 80s that defined that decade in which UNTIL NOW is still loved and played! So yeah...what are you talking about?...or just too salty?
If you hate the 80s why did you search for a Debbie Gibson video of all things?
True!80' s the best!
The gorgeous, talented and very beautiful woman is fully dressed with her song like this is superb, luv luv this track❤❤
Debbie Gibson got such a raw deal. I know this is pretty cheesy but it's legit great pop music & Debbie was a remarkable talent at such a young age! & it wasn't like she was a 1-hit wonder, she had like 6 big hits in such a short amount of time. That's nuts. She deserved better than to be written off as "uncool".
You are absolutely right!
She was and still very underrated. An amazing talent.
@@davidwelker3465 In fact, she sung with many hard rock bands.
She was good
Exactly, she wrote and produced some very good pop songs
80's best memories music ever solid
If you listening in 2023, you're legend...
Dudette, you freaking ROCK! Out of the out of the out of the CLEAR BLUE!
Does anybody has a time machine? I just want to go back to the 80's era..
Me too. Today is so discouraging.

Me Too!
🎉 retro music greetings from coastal Mississippi. 1987... Out of the blue....blew me away. Loved the video. 2024.... Still loving the video. Met Debbie years later ❤
Always loved her outfit style. Cute and classy. Coming to my hometown in June live. 💖😘 something about a woman and her piano. 😁🎶
Classic 80s that NEVER gets old!! Ooo I wish 🤞 I could go back to the 80s and do it all over again, It would be sooo much fun!! RIP to all our classmates who are no longer with us 💔 😔 😪!
Out of the blue come this song which melts my heart. I love you Debbie Gibson. My dreams with you never came true. And now I'm blue. But I never thought I would fall in love with you...Out of the...Out of the...Out of the blue...I never thought I would fall in love with you.
Without you, without you
I always thought that everything was fine
Without you
Never knowing you'd be mine
Suddenly my world has changed
And I just wonder why
All it took was just one smile
Now with you, out of the blue
Love appeared before my eyes with you
A dream come true
I never thought I'd realize what love was
What love was, what love was.
I need you, oh I need you
And everyday I love you more and more
Without you (dreams and tears)
I know what it's all for
Suddenly I see you there
And everything's ok
Don't know why I feel this way
Now with you, out of the blue
Love appeared before my eyes with you
A dream come true
I never thought I'd realize what love was
What love was, what love was.
Here with you
We are together now
Never take my heart away
All the love I found
Is here to stay (out of the blue)
It's like a dream come true
I never thought I'd fall in love with you
Out of the blue
Love appeared before my eyes with you
A dream come true
I never thought
Here with you
My mum used to sing this when she was a teenager. She said she feels young again every time I play this song.
I grew up with Debbie Gibson and your Mum is right it makes me feel young again😁
You heard her sing when she was a teenager?
Send my regards for your mom
Exactly! When I hear the opening beats I feel like I’m transported back to 1988, if only for about 4 minutes.
Debbie Gibson Out Of The Blue 1987
Still beats any of today's music .
(I am dancing like crazy to this song.).
I would rather listen to this over any Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears album.😋
Love it
FOESHOW

FOESHOW
She wrote her own songs and plays various instruments unlike most of today's female artists ..beyon,e, rihinba, etc just yo name a few
She will always be the 'Eternal Teenager' of the 80s. Shining with so much innocence and talent! ❤❤❤
Wow a great teen song and she’s fully dressed! And has a great voice ! And Talent! What a concept! I miss waking up to those days.
FULLY DRESSED. GREAT VOICE AND TALENT! So rare now.
As crestons wife speaking she's changed her image I miss her old image clean if she only knew her own worth still
@@tinkerbelle2271 q0
She didn't undress for Playboy until later in her career.
Yes, She is the Britney Spears of my youth, except she could (still can) sing and she was modest in her appearance and behavior. Her two Hallmark movies were pretty cool, too. :-)
Ok l, can we talk about how this is the perfect pop song? And that guitar solo leading into the bridge is EVERYTHING with Ms. Gibson’s voice as icing.
I'm sure there have been times when
Debbie Gibson thought to herself that she was born ten years too early. If she
had been 17 at the time Britney was, the
time when that age was taken seriously
artistically, who knows how long Debbie Gibsons career would have lasted. As
for comparing her to Taylor Swift, don't
waste your time, mine, or anyone else's.
Debbie has her beat in songwriting, voice, and musicianship. Both hands down! Looks? Personality? I wouldn't
take either from t.s. Debbie is still a
charmer!
A beautiful lady who makes magic music whenever or whatever she sings. Debbie Gibson is a beautiful lady. A very intelligent woman who writes her own music. We are blessed to have her.
Debbie Gibson VERY TALENTED
My son is a senior and went to Homecoming I asked if he slow dance. Nope. Told him that was the best, I went through a bunch of '80s '90s songs that we all slow danced ro
Out Of The Blue came this wonderful album sung by a talented and beautiful teenager.
Oh Debbie! I just think your so adorable in that black hat! ❤️❤️💋
80s and early 90s were the best times for my generation in America being a teenager and college. Life was simpler and better.
It was awesome 💚
Everything was so much more genuine and creative, things turned very generic after that.
we were lucky to have grown up in an era where the world was relatively stable and you could just be a joyous, happy teen looking ahead to the future with ubridled optmism. Deborah propelled me into college and beyond.
🧡💯
Then when 2000 rolls in it was just down hill from there!! USMC 1991
Cutest human being ever! 😍
I always liked Debbie from the time I heard of her! She seems to be very much relevant even today!
Believe it or not, even more than her incomparable "Foolish beat, Electric Youth, In Your Eyes, etc, this was her song that we remembered the most at the time. I was 22, a martial arts type, hung out with both the jocks and the "nerds," and really liked this song. Debbie Gibson had something that unfortunately was not promoted: purity and sincerity, coupled with real talent.
One of the best comment about debbie gibson that ive ever read. Yes. Shes a real and honest person.
Ditto here. I got along with everyone in school
I was in middle school when this song came out. Now I'm really old. I have gray hair. Getting old sucks.
💯. Well said sir
Don’t forget “we could be together” also. There is a video for it.
The 80s music was so much fun and special. Debbie is so sweet and wholesome-nice music!
Debbie best singer ever
Brings back memories
Happy 50th Birthday Debbie!
I don't know how to say it, but out of all teen pop stars Debbie Gibson always had class. Even at the tender age of 16/17.
The 80s were the best period of music ever!
absolutely right.
I Loved her,still do she's an angel.
A very beautiful angel.
I was 13 going on 14 when this came out. Debbie Gibson was my boyhood crush. Preferred her over Tiffany.
Boyhood????
She's a girl
Lmao 🤣
@@jon2849 Boyhood as in I was a boy when I crushed on her you retard.
😅@@jon2849
This song ❤ take me back to my childhood, my teenage years 😂 loved this song then, still listen to it now 🙌
Saw this on MTV one day and immediately had a crush on her. I still do to this day.
Who wouldn't? Me too. : )
You have the voice of an angel, and a very stunning lady who has used what God gave her to the best of her ability. If our paths could ever meet I wouldn't hesitate to want to get together so I can find out what Miss Deborah is really like. Because I am just an average of the road bum whose life hasn't gone anywhere, but not for the lack of trying. Because I didn't know and still don't know what God wants me to do down here, and that I just turned 60 and know that time is running out on me to do something right down here to try to make it upstairs.
It's not too late you're not that old hang in there God bless
Back in my younger days during my national service( conscription here in Singapore) after training everyone would would call their gf or loved ones. There was no internet on phone. I was single and it was quite depressing. But I had a Sony discman and a Debbie Gibson CD. I would listen to it every night and things weren't so bad anymore. Thanks Debbie for helping me get through it
Back in 1988 I took my nieces and some of their school friends to their first two concerts. These kids were all 12 to 15 years old. I was 28 at the time. On July 3rd they saw Tiffany at the Universal Amphitheatre. One month later on August 3rd they saw Debbie Gibson at the Greek Theater. I wasn't a fan of these artists but the kids had a great time. Both shows were OK, but I must admit the Debbie Gibson show was a bit better. Nice to see her back on the road.
Debbie is one of the most under rated musicians of the 80's; she is very talented!
RHINO
She was highly popular back then in and outside US, I can say that. It's just because there was no internet and no UA-cam in her era. She used to come to my country for a concert.
She had the misfortune of living in the days of Madonna.
@@russelldavis4938 she still lives.....
I agree! She's great!!!
Debbie had the best clothes. Haha! We all wanted to be Debbie Gibson.
beautiful music
A mazing voice Debbi Gibson salute
She will forever be my first crush ! 😊
i have this on cassette still 30 odd years later.
She's a great talent 😊
Debbie Gibson rocks
I was born in 70 and rocked the 80's pop style of penny loafers scrunchys . Totally miss the simplicity of our teen years.
Kids today have absolutely no idea of what a great many people did for fun.
Ahh, the Queen of the 80s in my opinion. I wore that cassette tape out. Man, such great memories.
What's a cassette tape?
(Just kidding!)
My favorite Debbie Gibson song for the past 37 years!! So hopeful and cheerful. If I’m feeling down, this picks me up.
These were the best days ever.
70s music was awesome but intense . 80s just made me feel good . Geeze take us back!
feels like i'm young everytime i played the full album of Debbie Gibson! Debbie Gibson fans here in the Phillippines!❤❤❤
Peaked @ #3, April ‘88 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
OMG - I still know the words to a Debbie Gibson song ... YIKES!! Without you, without you ...
It's April 2023 and I started driving down the road and popped in my head and I had to put it on! ☺️🎤🎶
I'm digging the Boy George hat.l
What are terrific Talent she has.ll
I know, she wrote and produced every song I believe. So sick of these made up 'musicians' nowadays. What happened? I'm so glad for UA-cam to relive these (mostly) GREAT memories!!
