With the fall of my old company, i'm swapping now. I'm going into community solar. Anyone have experience with this? How have the sales gone for you?

I literally just started like 3 weeks ago doing community Solar. The big advantage is that it’s easier to convince people to sign up for it since they don’t have to worry about installations but the big disadvantage is that the savings is not as significant as the savings that one could get with installations. Also, the hardest door to get out of is your car door because getting car stuck in the name of preparation is a real thing. Overall though, it’s more enjoyable than working a stressful 9-5 and if you put in the effort you can make some good money with it. I’m only 3 sales in because the first two weeks I was struggling with getting car stuck because I’m not use to going on peoples property and trying to convince them to sign up for something but once you get the first sale it feels amazing.

Have conviction in what you sell
And you’ll do just fine!
Currently working for shared solar advisors company but the job with this company is only available in a few states at the moment (Maine, Maryland, Colorado, and Minnesota). Great CEO and great people that will encourage you. The company reviews speak for themselves.

Some towns and municipalities don’t allow “solicitation” after 4-5pm on certain days. Obviously us door knockers don’t care haha
Most towns have the most outlandish archaic no soliciting laws but as the other guy said it only matters if Karens make it matter
