Dieser Musiker "begleitet" mich schon fast 30 Jahre. Dieses Lied ist für mich eines der ehrlichsten und tiefgrünigisten, die ich je gehört habe.
    Danke für Deine Offenheit, Peter.

the anger, and the genuine hurt as the flip side........... this is so much what our times and people are experiencing. That's what true art is, capturing the essence of our puzzles and contradictions. Way to go, PG.

Saw Peter Gabriel in Glasgow SECC in 1993 - what a show!! Amazing, innovative, musically magnificent (dig the alliteration!!) and just a real treat!! When we left the stadium, we listened to the local radio station in the car and the dj played 3 PG songs back to back, cos he knew the fans were making their way home!! What a night - great guy!! Thank you Peter!! xxxx

mid 1993. The baby was born. everyone around me was in a sea of madness as was I. Glad we made it through. Thanks Peter Gabriel for the song that showed me how to cope. I'll never forget it!

peter gabriel is a god! a lot of the money he makes goes back into his music, music he and his band mates have made for over a quarter of a century. They help musicians from other countries, some poorer than us, reach an audience.

He did "Steam" on Saturday Night Live ("SNL"), and I know -for sure- that Tony was using those bizarro "mallet-thinggies" on that song. I figured that someone would've posted it on here, by now, but I wasn't able to find it.
