*Memo! Thanks for honoring my request and making this vid!* My verrucosum is larger and I actually snapped it too by accident. I propagated the snapped bit. It’s doing ok. It’s taken FOREVER to root, probably 4-5 months. But like yours, the stored energy in the stem sustained it all that time until roots started to form about a month ago. So now I have two! ☺️☺️ Another cool thing. The mother plant had so much stored energy it actually put out TWO new shoots from the same node below where I snapped it. Currently, both new shoots are growing well and new leaves are forming. Happy growing and thanks again!
Verrucosum is best in moss pole all layer of node can get nutrients in moss pole not just in the ground substrate and even if you cut it in the middle the plant can thrive an d survive.
I am successful with most Philodendrons but definitely not with Verrucosum. In fact, i gave up after 5 failed attempts. My conclusions from these failed attempts to share with all who are interested to try:1) Very sensitive plant to change of environment, 2) Prefers cooler temperature ( like airconditioned ), 3) VERY VERY VERY prone to spider mites infestation. Good luck.
hey. i can see you are hanging something on your plants . are they amblyseius ? is this a new thing to eradicate pests? will you be able to make a video about this product? i purchased one but reluctant to start using it.
I’ve been searching for a video that talks about philo verrucosum recovery. I received mine from mail 3 days ago and I noticed that the greener leaf has brown color in one of its corner already. The leaves are also wilting but the moss is soaked still. Any advice? I got my humidifier going and grow lights but I don’t see any improvement (maybe I’m just nervous and impatient😟) please help😭
Such a beautiful plant, but they always die in my care :(. Even just a replacement by a couple of meters and a tiny difference in climate can make it die..

Of course, happy to do it and interesting to hear we had similar experiences, but reassuring to see your cuttings took a while to get going too
For the first time I hear about verro successful propagation, could you please share your method? Thank you.
Currently the most hysterical plant in my collection and I have been successful with ferns, cissus discolor and begonias.
Yeah completely get you on this one 😅
I use predatory mites regularly as a preventative measure. They are great little things, and I love seeing them on my plants!
"Yes" to a video about predatory insects!
Yes x2
Oh... this ficus 💚 is to die for 😍😋
Thank youuu for the advice. Subbed. 😊
The verrucosum was the first plant I ever had spidermites on.
I hear they like cooler Temps and humidity, also hear keeping grow media moist is ehat you have to worry about humidity wise

a typical dominance🤔 what is this? & how do you do it to your plants please?
It is when you cut the main stem and the Apical Dominance is released, which is just a fancy way to say it will branch out into 2 or more branches

I am struggling with mine 😭
Wondering what's wrong....think it's humidity.
More please 👍
