- The thermostat crapped out on my dad's WJ, so this week I'll show you how to replace it on the 4.7L V8 Grand Cherokee. Thanks for watching!

To call this video simply: GOOD would be an understatement. BleepinJeep gave us a superb product, complete with GREAT camera work, annotations, and great suggestions relative to the notched gasket THANK YOU 10+++
For anyone watching this, don't use normal coolant. The 4.7l requires HOAT G-05 coolant.
Please do more videos on the WJ. Especially with the 4.0
Good video! Been a few years since I did mine and wanted to make sure I didn't forget anything. More WJ 4.7 videos would be awesome!
YAY! Finally some WJ content.
While you are at it, replace the radiator hoses, thermostat housing, and radiator cap. Very inexpensive. Make sure is the correct coolant. Great video
You Bleepin Jeep Guys do a great job with your Jeep stuff and some universal topics. Keep up the good work!! For a little FYI, WJ is 1999 - 2004. ZJ is 1993 - 1998. WK is 2005 - 2010. WK2 is 2011 to present :) Grand Cherokees are my forte.
It's odd to me that the thermostat is on the bottom hose outlet, mind you, I'm used to older gm engines and the good old 4.0. I'm interested in seeing more on the 4.7, and on the WJ. ☺
Thank you. I did not have to pause and replay a thing you said, or shot that was perfect.
Great video, very helpful
great job again bleepinjeep
What would be symptoms of the check valve not being lined up with the hole?
Thanks for your help
Anyone have a link to a Jeep WJ with a LS swap ? I have a mint 2003 WJ , 4in lift, 32's. The engine is toast and I'd like to swap it out for a LS. I live down the street from a junkyard , so plenty of parts there for the build including motors for cheap. Links or ideas ? Thanks
First time anyone mentioned a bleeder screw, do I have that on my 4.0 inline 6, also I can't find the gasket with the tab for the 4.0. Can you tell me where I can find one? Thank you.
Great.
Awesome video! Thank you!!
Great video thanks!
what size hose fit on the petcock for drainage?
No running lights on 2004 Grand Cherokee 4.7. Do you have a cure for it?
