You are EXACTLY right about the camera placement. I can't buy this ONLY because of the camera placement. I can't have prop guards in my FOV because it makes the footage useless. If they made two versions, I'd buy it today.
Yeah, I'm gonna ask them to make another version of the cage with more forward camera placement for those of us who care more about the video footage and less about crashing.
I just got my Pavo 20 today and I also own 2 Paco Pico's which I absolutely love however I suggest for new people to just buy a Pavo20, its better in pretty much every way, the Pavo Pico plastic parts break extremely easy, and the Pavo 20 has a bigger motor, flies longer, camera is smoother, handles wind better, much more durable and its the same price as a Pavo Pico.... its a no brainer.
Not a no brainer if you need to be under 100g or if you mainly fly indoors and need something slower.
Can we have a video comparing the loudness between the pico and 20? thank you! Also, how bad is the props guard at lower angles? The best thing about the pavo20 in my opinion is the pricing compared to the cineon20, cinelog20, flylens85. I wanted a stronger 03 micro next to the pico but couldn't justify the prices (400-500 range).

Im still waiting for my delivery but Im now bit worried about zhe camera placement. If you could make betafpv to release another version of the cage that would be absolutely amazing. I would try to delete the two top screws and raise the camera uint it may remove the props considering they have new screws to help with jello
Finally someone's talking about the Pavo 20. lol It's been silent since release. I've been waiting to hit buy, but having prop guards in view even when using wide-angle (not just ultra-wide) is really disappointing. Before this came out, I had decided on the Flylens 85, but it's complete lack of camera protection was concerning. (And the vulnerability of the VTX mount) I was hoping that the TPU camera shroud from the Pico frame kit might be enough. *shrug* My priorities are durability, camera protection, quiet operation, some acro ability, indoor/outdoor operation, flight time >4m, jello-free, and to some degree aesthetic. (Flylens85 is gorgeous) Any input or recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks for being the first to talk about this quad.
Hopefully BETAFPV will make an alternative version of the camera cage with it more forward. But if your priority is camera protection, then you have to give up props in view. One of the things that protects the camera is also the prop guards so moving it forward makes it more vulnerable.

Albert, you should look at the ITSY by spydr cinematics- no propguards in view, even with no camera tilt and the 03 camera in wide angle mode and 5+ minute flight time with no jello.
I heard the 5+ minutes of flight time is only if you go over 250g with a giant battery. I may eventually get around to taking a look at that one but so far loving the Pavo20 and FlyLens85.
@@AlbertKimTV The Itsy is about 105g with a 720mah 2S and flies between 5-6 minutes- this is outside and even doing light acro.
Does the kit come with the O3 Antenna mount?
BetaFPV does not list it as one of the items that it comes with!
It's now built into the cage itself so that's why it's not listed separately.

Nice video. I am interested to purchase Pavo20, but I am not sure which one should I select from the website. Which one is better?
Option 1: ELRS 2.4G
Option 2: TBS
ELRS is better but I don't know which radio you own since you didn't say what it was.
the product page of the Pavo20 states it's 3s only.
but the fc description says it's 2s-3s. would you say it's still ok to use 2s?
It should work fine on 2S, just slower. Doesn't hurt to try at a lower voltage.

Hey Albert, which one is the most quietest O3 cinewhoop? No matter size or weight or anything else.
No one knows this answer exactly, but generally, something very light and with bigger props will be less noisy.

Hello, good day, thank you very much for your videos, I would like you to help me since I bought the Pavo 20, but I can't link it, I have the DJI remote control 2, I bought the BetaFPV Pavo20 Brushless Whoop Quadcopter - PNP ELRS (For DJI O3 HD Digital VTX), but not binding the RC, can I configure it? or will I have to change it, this will take a long time, thanks for your help
The default setup out of the box is for the ELRS receiver onboard so you have to switch to the UART that the O3 Air Unit is connected to. It's documented on the flight controller diagram included with your kit. You also have to change the protocol to SBUS. I documented this in the Pavo Pico review a few months ago.
Witsch one is louder? Flywoo flylens 85 or pavo20?
Pavo20 is a little louder but not by much.
I’m torn between choosing this one and the fly lens 85 03 lite version. I’m looking for a sub250 quad with Dji 03 air unit that can do acro fairly well (like at least powerful enough to pull a good power loop and come out of a dive without hitting the ground).
Looking for about a 4 to 5 minute flight time.
Not really into cinematic. Just park flying and acro. I want prop guards incase I fly some indoors.

Do you think the Pavo 20 with a full Dji 03 air unit is as powerful as the fly lens 85 with Dji 03 lite version? Will it get the same flight time and be similar in power as far as flying acro is concerned. Or should I look at the Geprc cinelog 20 on 4s? I would prefer a full size air unit. Not super keen on something modified. But the weight on the full size unit seems to really make these smaller sub250 build too heavy and affects flight time and acro performance.
I think something like this with 2.5 inch props might be the sweet spot for power to weight ratio with a full air unit.
In summary (sorry for the long post) I guess my main question is what quad would you suggest for me for a sub 250 quad with prop guards and a full size dji03 air unit that would give me enough power for decent acro and a 4 to 5 minute flight time ?
The Pavo20 will give you better acro performance over the FlyLens because it's running 3S. Also, you saw the demo flight, right? I got 4:30 with plenty of acro flying on a smallish 3S 450mah.
