I started by trying to watch your oldest videos. I'm an old jarhead but the vulgarity was crazy. You cleaned up your act. COOL. Only did one of these motors. Idiots Guide to VW repair. Used that engine in a Super Beetle and a van for 4 yrs. Sold the motor to a friend and saw him driving it 3 yrs. later. Had to get on him about maintenance. Great video. I'm on my last car so I have to do my wrenching through these type videos. Thanks.
Generator, King Pins, Swing Axles, Single Circuit Brakes, Single Relief Crankcase, Non-Collapsing Steering Column: all the good things in life. 😃 Looking forward to the Single Cab road trip!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....That's how I felt sometimes when I had my '72 Super when I was younger 20years ago....slapping fresh EMPI and CB PERFORMANCE and DELLORTO's on a 27yr old 1600 dual-port......"lots of lipstick on that pig"... but she ATE CIVIC's and ACCORD's like potato chips.....all they'd see was a a 4-vent decklid and THUNDERBIRD pipes making car-lengths!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great video! Why did you plug the one side of the exhaust and only use the right side? Was it just to slap together something for the test or is there another reason?
Wouldn't it be helpful to adjust the ignition distributor correctly before trying to start an engine? I know you choose to adjust it by hand, but you turn it quite a lot....😏
You started by saying you were going to play dress up and I saw that you had trousers on without holes in them so I just thought you'd been shopping for clothes.
Knowing what you can get away with = WISDOM

That rebuild sounds great. Now you replace parts and give it a go!
I never tire or listening to air cooled engine start ups !This one sounds really sweet.
Sounds good, nice muffler mod lol. But... put the oil baffle in the correct orientation when you convert to a Gen
Caught that also. lol
Purrs like a kitten. 👍🏻
Your budget refresh sounds 100% better than my old "70" sounds like.......
I'm fairly new to your channel and I have to say that hands down this is my favorite channel. Keep up the great work.

Hey, where is knucklehead? Haven’t seen him in a while.
Busy with personal stuff. Hoping to be back in the shop soon

Slap together to use it 😂

Yeah probably, but sometimes I can’t be bothered. Especially when I’m using subpar used trash that I plan on taking off anyway.
@@wickedwerks Anyway, I love your channel! Wicked Werks rocks!💪
Where's Ben. .? Has he gone on holiday by mistake...
where did you get your engine stand??
The stand came from harbor freight, the yoke came from Vintage World Tools on thesamba. I made the switch panel

I did! I currently have two pairs of pants in the total of five pairs that I own that do not have holes! Life is good 😂
Does your beard smell like a lavender field?
This is my new favorite comment 😂
