Note: To those suggesting it would have been easier to wedge something behind the bottom half of the PC to straighten it out, I tried that. Unfortunately, the wall mount doesn't hold to the wall, so when you add a wedge behind, the whole system just stays tilted at the same angle and inches forward lol. I should have got a mount that could be tightened to stay flat against the wall but I didn't know it would be needed at the time. Good learning experience I guess. 🙃

As an alternative to the TV mount, a "french cleat" would work really well. It's a super simple way to mount things onto walls, and it's used to hang heavy things like cabinets. It would allow you to get the system much closer to the wall too, if you wanted.
I guess it’s our turn to roast Kyle’s setup, i’ll start:
He doesn’t even have an LTT water bottle.
Not even a LTT mousepad... What a horrible setup.
He doesn’t have a water cooled wireless phone charger

Some right angle connectors for all your cables going from your computer would make it look a lot nicer
I've had the non BT version of those speakers for years. LOVE THEM. They reproduce the mid tones so well. I use them in my video production.
Too high??
that's awesome they look great. better off with the non BT anyway cuz of the latency.
I have these ones for my tv. Great for the price!
Hey Kyle, I work for an electrical contractor out of Chicago. I would suggest using whats called “wiremold” to route your power cable. It’s a surface mounted raceway you can paint over. I commonly use it in schools and office buildings. If it has to go behind, you can put in two boxes similar to your open mounting and install flexible metal conduit, commonly called greenfield between them. Can be a bit of a pain in this application since the flex greenfield has to be large enough to accommodate the plug. California code might be different but Chicago code is one of the strictest.
You can buy a USB desk grommet that has a card reader. You'll be able to route cables and install it directly in your desk. Would look super clean. Also command strips for paintings that use Velcro for your power bricks. You put one strip on the wall and one on the power brick. That way they will connect to the wall but still can be removed.
Velcro sucks, talking from personal experience, use a bracket
@@GamersofUnivers the command painting strips with Velcro don't suck. The large strips are designed for heavy objects.
That PC is perfect man... I love the simple, clean aesthetic w/ minimal tubing, but enough to look prem.
I actually was waiting for this setup to be finished more than my own. :D
Asking if you can put a wall in the new office to making the wall, "THE" Wall. It was an incredible journey Kyle!
6:04 that caught me off-guard and had me laughing for no reason
You really gotta get some right-angle display adapters to tuck away those cables on the side there. Otherwise, this setup is clean as hell and I'm insanely jealous
Get right angle DP plugs for the cables out the back of the GPU. That will make the cables look so much more managed!!
Was gonna suggest that good thing I read comments first. 😆
This is a good solution to hold the system parallel with the wall. For a failsafe, you could add a "wedge" in between the bottom of the pc and the wall. this could be a black clean looking cylinder that would be able to catch the weight of the pc if the brackets were to fail. Further, the surface area of the cylinder should be large on the drywall side to spread out the force against the wall and not cause a puncture so the preferred shape for this may actually be a cone.
LMAOOOO THE CODY KO FRICTIONLESS
Cut the speaker power cable, pass it in the wall, then connect the cut part to a generic wall plug after, that you find in hardware stores.
Part of my dads work is IT electrician, and doing this is safe, as long as you properly tighten the screws that hold the cable in the plug and don't cut too much of the insulation, so the cables are not exposed and close to each other.
I'm not usually the jealous type... but for now I have decided to hide all my credit cards. 😭😭😭

Im loving this new editing style! Nice little change that makes a huge difference! Makes an already great video just that much better!
Probably the new editor dunno if they stared already
You can get the speaker power cable down the wall using a “fishing” method if the wall is hollow. You basically drill at the top, and also where you want the destination to be, then use a rod to pull the cable inside the wall.
If that sounds complicated, google is a wonderful tool.

LOL, the Gamers Nexus Mod Mat on the floor for his feet... oh man... please let Steve see that!
From one Kyle to another...could you just put some spacers on the bottom to push the lower edge out? Looks amazing!
Said the same thing in the last video but I guess it worked out and added some stability too.
No, if he did that the whole unit would push away from the wall, or in other words, the tv mount would simply extend out while remaining at the same downward angle. The best way to mount a PC like this would just be some French cleat style mount on top and matching spacer for the bottom.
You can perfectly pass the electric cable through those mounts, just cut the end part, pass it, then stick them back together. Electric cables are really really easy to stitch back up.
This pc is a visual representation of what life goals should be. It is absolutely stunning, Kyle.
For the power bricks I use cable ties with a screw hole so you can mount whatever is zip tied to anything you don't mind putting a screw into
Always a good day when Bitwit uploads
What the hell UA-cam?! Why am I discovering this video a week after it was posted even when I'm subscribed?!!!!

Turned out amazing man!
A very simple modification to that wall mount bracket would allow you to tilt it back further! You have to extend the groves the tilt bolt goes through with a Dremel and a grinding bit. They are designed to not go past vertical but you need it to tilt back farther than that to support the weight of the PC! You could also have put a few washers under the bottom mount bolts on the back of the PC! I wouldn't want to use your method because of all work to get it away from the wall. You could just use 2 more of those brackets at the bottom of the case and you wouldn't need the wall mount bracket at all! Sorry to be critical but I didn't want others to think your way was the best way!
Couldn’t you have just put a leg on the inside at the bottom between the wall and PC to “push out” the bottom so it’s vertical?
Too easy I guess. I did that for a mirror before.
I like how where the link for the gpu is supposed to be in the description. It just says"whats the point lol'

Is there any way you can open the other side of that wall to add some blocking to the side with the PC? Then you can get a flush mount and lag bolt it in anywhere on the wall.
for the power bricks, use picture hanging command strips! they're kinda like velcro, but both sides are the same. that way if you need to take it down you easily can! and then you can just press it back into place when you're done.
Have you got a new editor? I know you were looking for one. I'm noticing a difference in the editing style.
Little tip my friend...masking tape and an open envelope under the drilling of the holes will capture your dust...simples

Ive been using this case for the last year, and have had it hung like he has. The wall mount he needs to use is the USX Mount Fixed TV Wall Mount with Low Profile from Amazon. It will solve all the problems with no Jerry rigging.
I find it funny how he has a GamersNexus mod mat as a foot mat. Look under the desk when he is talking about the USB hub.

Edifier was an unknown /underdog brand (for me at least) but they are perfect for the job and really affordable. Good choice, Kyle!!
Early Gang!! Absolutely love how this setup came out!
Hey Kyle I recommend 3m command strips for sticking your power adapters under the desk. they sorta work like velcro strips except there's no soft side. I have a bunch holding up a power strips, Kinect v2 connection boxes, laptop and monitor power adapters all under my desk. They're pretty solid going on more than 2 years even with the heat generated from the components they secure.
When this setup costs more than anything you will ever have for gaming.
Use right angle connectors for your USB Displayport and PSU power for cleaner connections. Glad things finally turned out on this. Relieved to see its over FINALLY. Its soooo funny you were talking about your issues with usb passthrough and I was thinking just use the monitor stand you got. Then in the next clip the monitor stand was there and was like SICK! Nice setup kyle definitely a little jealous. My RTX 3080 and 11700K are satisfactory though :)
im debating selling my kidney for a strix 3090
U should do it!
Same
do a wheel of names and put yes or no and whatever is the answer do it
You only need one.
probabaly still wouldnt be able to afford it lol
You should do something about those video cables. Everything else is so squared so they stick out. Some sort of black cable channels with 90 degree bends or something? I know there are 90 degrees connectors as well
You did not have to do Cody like that 🤦🏻♀️ He’s getting old, his heart can’t take it
Super easy way. You can chop the ends of the power cable. Run the cable and then put the end back on. You can pick this up at Home Depot.
Nooo not blue tooth speakers, the latency! damn shoulda went with radio frequency wireless speakers my guy.
Don't they have like 100-200 ms latency?
To “fix” the speaker issue : since you got that desk stand already maybe you can put on a tube desktop amplifier instead. That way you don’t need to put AC power to your speakers on the wall. You may have to change speakers though but that shouldn’t be an issue. There are awesome Bluetooth enabled desktop tube amps out there. Plus they look great!
You've literally made my $4,000 build look like a chump 😭😭😭

Why not just some rubber stoppers on the bottom of the case to level out the lean? could use some fancy case feet even, like it's meant to be there?
Oh yeah! This is one of the perks of getting divorced. No wife to stop you doing something like this.
too early for this bro 😂
He needs a super hot e-girl on the channel now. Sure the pool is full too :)
not needed bro
It's in the studio not his house 😂
You could get un-powered speakers and buy a class D amplifier or other small amp. It should be up to code to run speaker wire through the wall (it's low voltage). That way you don't need to worry about running power cables, just have the amp plugged in somewhere below your desk.
It's so much easier to mount anything on drywall the Concrete! (The best filling when you drill in concert and hit a small stone and a chunk of the wall falls of)
I have those same speakers in my setup and the screens came off immediately, looks so much better and sound great for the money!
Good job, looks great! BUT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!!!
From an engineering stand point, in your situation supporting from top is much more difficult/expensive than supporting it from the bottom...
Just some pieces of wood or metal (rods similar to the silver/chrome for aesthetic appeal) 2 or 3 points on the bottom (corners and center) with some 3M tape pushing the PC case out until flush is what I would have done as a solution instead of having brackets at top pulling it back.
The way you are doing it only makes sense if it is also somehow attached to the PC case as a fail-safe to the bracket breaking...
A possible solution for the speaker problem would be to switch the active speakers out with the passive Edifier P12’s and use an external amp such as the SMSL AD18 which has BT, Aux, Optical and USB inputs.
A Noctua themed PC would be cool. Like using the light and dark brown colors on the case, PSU cables and stuff like that. With A LOT of classic brown Noctua fans oc.
u could get one of those 2 flat-pin male electrical plug so you can cut and pass those electrical cords through any hole and then put on the replacement plug.
You could have still used the toggle bolt on the bottom hole with a small drill out.... could've taken the spring clip off completely and just screwed it on from behind as you had access to the rear from cable box just below the hole?
The final product is going to be incredible. Looking forward to that video
I have the same case. My recommendation would be to slap some mirror window tint on the front. Makes it look cleaner the only issue is that the inside looks darker when looking in because the glass is already dark
that beat you have in the background is fire
I am 1 minute in and the easiest way to fix it is with a bumper on the bottom to push the bottom out just a little. No hole or anything needed and it just has to be on the bottom of the swivel point. Honestly though, I think it looks good with a tilt as your sitting under it and can see it better when sitting. The only thing that would bother me is seeing the hole where the wires go down through the wall. Hard to get around that but you typically put that in the center more or into the corner so it's less noticeable. Great build though!
You know they have angle bits that can turn those corners a little better. And covers that will defuse the lights a little better. The mount looks great!
For the power cables you can always do those cable tubes that stick to the drywall.
Try some pictures on the wall as well displate has some great anodized aluminum with prints on them held on the wall with magnets
