I have done this used fiber glass pvc and bowdark saplings but their is a easier way to do it with out a pole all together just need a weight a hook and a bobber the weight at the bottom then a hook that and a bobber that will hold the bait off the bottom and a weight heavy enough to sink the bobber sneaky lines also can be concealed easy also. But super cheap to make if you want you can make stakes to tie them to with rebar or just use what is available or tent stakes are fairly cheap also.
