Love it! What ya got there is a bonified multimillion dollar horse ranch truck. North Texas is loaded with horse ranches, and they all have the fanciest top of the line dressed up trucks to tote their horses around in big trailers with living quarters built right in. Did you get the mandatory 10-gallon cowboy hat to go with it? You drove right by Justin TX. They could fix you right up with a pair of Justin Boots, and likely the hat too. Lol 🤣
Hey Dalton, happy you found the truck of your dreams, quite a heavy duty utility bed, nice unit. Not familiar with your Winters, but watch out for road salt use, afraid it will rapidly corrode that bed and tool boxes. The Cummins will serve you well, not certain about the rest of the Dodge, but you are satisfied with your purchase and that is all that matters.
Wow I love the new truck! That flatbed is a game changer if you want to upgrade to a camper/toy hauler in the future😉 I love your little camper but it might be nice to have a bigger option for longer camping trips.
Good lord have mercy!!!! You’ve got a beautiful beast!!!! That interior is so very nice! That’s important too. It’s where you spend your time! I think ten thousand people are very happy for you!!!!! You should be safe in that beast from all incoming Kia Souls !!!!!
After seeing your video about getting hit I had to see a follow up. Don’t feel bad about replacing the tires, think of it as someone who can’t afford nice tires could benefit from buying those secondhand. The people who had that truck probably had nice tires on it and put cheap tires on it to sell it. I’m glad you seem to be doing well and found a truck you have had in the back of your mind for a while, it looks like it will be happy to start new epic memories with you.
Yeah, like this truck had everything you wanted. It was like that Truck was right there with your name on it. I agree you should change those tires though. I recommend Michelin as they are the longest lasting and best riding tires.
Working, restoring, growing peppers, exploring and hiking, fishing ( sort of 🎏), and making great videos! Also keeping up with family and friends! Wow!
Very nice , they are safe trucks for sure , a loved one went thru a rollover after being rear ended by someone racing…. He walked away with no injury … and yes overkill is smart when towing brother … I agree … you will be strong and steady everywhere
I know you’re glad to have it all behind you. I’ve personally never been a dodge/ram fan but I do believe they have the best diesel engine on the road. Off the topic for a second, one of your recent videos showed you having a mini bike with you. If I may ask what was it and do you think it’d be worth keeping one around in case of a shtf scenario for basic transportation? This from someone who lives a little ways from the nearest town
I love the mini bike. If you were going to use it for that, I’d definitely swap it with a predator 212 engine. Its a pretty cheap upgrade and it’ll give you a top speed more like 30-40 mph instead of 13mph. If you wanted to put some more money into something like that, a KLR650 or XR650 are the ultimate SHTF bikes. Bulletproof and simple
@@farmerthatflies i have a coleman BT200X. Most of them are governed pretty low because they’re kinda directed towards kids. You can take the governor out and get another 5mph or so but the safest way to get significantly higher speeds out of at least the coleman bikes is to engine swap them. I don’t personally know about other brands
@@marchingmoto thanks for answering. The Coleman seems to be the most available around here. Someone has one on marketplace that has the predator swap done already
@@farmerthatflies i would swap mine but a lot of my friends are very inexperienced with motorcycles so i prefer that it has the low top speed for all of them
Absolutely beautiful truck you are going to get so much use out of it and as the years goes by you will enjoy more and more i know what you been through with all the accident stuff I been there too enjoy your new truck nice one
Nice truck. I bought a camaro once with that same too low tint on windshield. I just took a razor and cut both sides straight across to a level i could see. It worked well.
Nice! Im here in WNC. Been busy, with the big event. 😢 that’s a good investment. Bring it to WNC and sell it if you ever want to.. you’d make $. Those are very common here- lots farms. Those and the small Toyota pickups (small narrow mountain roads) get scooped up immediately! Now, sooooo many vehicles gone in the storm and flood. It’s all very sad. Im okay. They eye came over my town. It was a miracle! You “did good”!
I left you a lengthy reply, but it disappeared. I am fine, thank you for asking. It’s too much to try to even convey here. God is good. People, taking care of people here… many men like yourself came in and now are working alongside our troops and tirelessly pecking away at the indenting task ahead. It will be years… winter is coming, so that is the immediate need for so many way back in who’ve lost their generations homes.
I know you would. You have your plate full honey. All I wanted to convey is we have the best of the best, like you. 🥰 good men are hard to find. I’ve found that they come together when there’s a need. Very heart warming and comforting. Disaster can, this day and age, happen anywhere and at anytime- it seems. The good news is it ignites our basic core of good men. I find that comforting. You are where you need to be right now. Always be ready and prepared to help others near you. That’s all that you can do. Keeep on doing your thing! 😊

And a mighty fine rig at that, you can hook up your old bed box if you want, or your own glass racks literally what ever you wanna do .. id black that chrome grill out tho. Thats literally the only thing bothering my sight of it but its not an issue at all 👍
Great looking truck! The winch on the front is a good idea. Do you see yourself getting black rims again? What are you going to do with your decked unit?
I’d really like to put some wheels on it like the f250 had but i think it’ll be a while before i can justify putting money into anything besides the house. I’ll sell the decked drawers
Man you seriopusly upgraded your truck. Congratulations. Get a body shop to look at the dents and see if they can make them go away. I see a nice dump trailer in your future.
@@marchingmoto I have a '99 as well, a good spare engine but it has a manual and my puller is an automatic. I agree. Congratulations on your new Ram 2500 my friend. You absolutely deserve it after what you've been through.
