Imagine if Night Shift made a flamethrower tank shooting out a stream of flame on a diorama. That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the thumbnail.
My father was on Saipan 2nd Marine division, he's passed away but watching this makes me think about him, great job and I will be waiting for your next video 👍👍👍👍👍
Old guy here , you have an amazing talent for doing this , its been so long since I’ve seen such talent with modelling , may sound crazy but the details remind me of what a jewelry maker would create ,Faberge for example , craftsmanship is a rare thing nowadays
Ive done this with an old model of a german u-boat, where i had it for years. Then i saw raiders of the lost ark again and saw the u-boat near the end and had to make that!
Just made a Sherman, just in Normandy instead of the Pacific, but they are such an amazing tank to build, the Asuka kit is amazing and definitely recommend it to anyone Who is looking for a Sherman kit. Thanks for the work Uncle NS
I’ve been waiting for you to do a pacific Sherman since I started watching your channel. This thing looks incredible, can’t wait for the rest of the series.
The greenstuff and baby powder thing absolutely blew my mind. I've been watching tutorials for making cloaks and fabric with it for a long time and never have they had something like this, which made it so simple!
Martin, I have been watching your videos for some years now. IT is amazing how you have evolved to become such an accomplished model and diorama builder! Whenever I watch one of your videos, I feel like picking up my stuff once again.
I went to toy mich in royal oak Michigan the other day. I mentioned that their sponsorship of you hadn't gone to waste... They said you've sent them LoTS of people!! Thank you telling me of a diorama shop nearish me... I would have never found them without you... Believe me. I've done several Google searches for hobby shops!!
Perhaps the best model you have built yet. I look forward to seeing complete model and hopefully seeing you make a Jungle scene or at least a plam tree.
My papaw was a Tank commander in the 2nd armored division 40-45 he fought from Africa to Normandy thru France and Germany landed D-day +5 at the amazing and horrific War stories I've heard all my life from him and my other papaw who was with the 34th infantry division THE RED BULLS he fought from Africa Landed at Anzio beach fought at Montacasino thru Italy...You did amazing job as always buddy
Another fantastic looking build. Keep up the great work and content. Here's some useless knowledge regarding the sandbags. The reason some sandbags are turned inside out has to do with the way they are manufactured. When they are sewn up during manufacture, the string that is used to tie the top closed is sewn up and on the inside of the bag. The bag is turned inside out to bring the string to the outside so it can be tied up once it is filled. I think it is a detail that varies by manufacturer, because some bags seem to come with the string on the outside while others come with the string on the inside, requiring the bag be turned inside out when it is filled. I filled a lot of sandbags around 2004 and noticed that small detail.
Awesome build video. So relatable as I’m a retired history teacher and I live on Guam, an ethnic sister island with Saipan. Can’t wait to see the tank painted and incorporated into your diorama.
Fantastic Build. I've been enjoying your channel for a couple of years now, and you never fail to make your videos entertaining. Between yourself and David at Plasmo (arguably the Best 2 modelers on the internet), I've gotten back into modeling and have also introduced my 2 grandsons into the hobby. I have gotta say we're having a blast having a model building weekend once a month, for that I thank you very much. Cheers 🍺
I watch your Jagdpanther videos pretty much on a daily basis. I’m currently modeling a 1/16 RC Jagdpanther from Henglong and I’m using a good number of features similar to what you put on yours. Thank you for that.
stunning as always - looking forward to seeing this painted & weathered. I think you need to also look at a Firefly, once covered with extra track armour for example....
I greatly appreciate the thought process behind your model choice and methodology. Great work as always. This is great inspiration as I continue on with my Sherman interior build!
Amazing!!! It amazes me how much more can be done on any model... And you find them every time! A Beautiful Sherman is the result!!! I can hardly wait for Finishing, I learn something new every time.
Id be curious to see Night build and heavily detail a Land Raider from Warhammer 40k.That or a Forgeworld model of a Leman Russ Incinerator. Your models are always detailed to the max capacity. Always impressed by your work, never a dissapointment! Keeps me going in the modeling hobby thank you!
Very pleased to get the notification of your highly anticipated new video, muh friend🤘 This project is starting off superbly. Very much looking forward to the entire process🤙
Hi Martin Fantastic work mate! Great super detailing and scratch building as well. I’m building a lot of Sherman’s for the NW Europe theatre, but I must admit that pacific subjects can be a bit more interesting with the amount of improved wooden armour etc Thanks for sharing your cool build video ❤😊
Another great project Martin! I have been wanting to build a late war (Iwo Jima/Okinawa) Sherman for a long time. The best kits out there are Dragon, Italeri has one I think but, not interested. Your techniques and methods are an inspiration and education for me! Look forward to the next installment
King Kong. Felicidades🎉🎉🎉.
Unless the mechanics needed to move or it got shoot off the marine tanks kept an ocd level of waterproofing. On Okinawa the marine tanks still had the all the tape and even the turret gun cover deep into the operation
🙈☢️Moc neruziem engliš chcelo by to niekedy slowakia tutilky. Inak sanica dole, dekel hore, prajem chuť, čas k ďalšej práci... Pozdrav do okresu Píšťany
Man I would kill to see Night build a model of an M3A3 Bradley
I've wanted this since the Puma!
That would be awesome, hope he makes one!
Scouts Out RECON! Hell YEAH! M3A2 ODS would be even better
I volunteer as tribute
I agree, would love to see it
Muh Friends… I’ve never seen something so relatable as ‘model count went up, bank account went down’
Wonderful to watch, thank you
#relatable
That's my life...

There's an Indian guy who makes miniature models of various things. I've seen his flamethrower.
@@ID-8491 Do you have the name of his UA-cam channel?

Now I'm interested to see you build a Javanese tank, like a Chi-Ha or something.
Same
Money comes and money goes. But the joy of model kit making is priceless and perpetual.
Those PanzerWerk Design tracks are the best! Great work as always with the detail Martin.

3:43 You just aknowledged the existence of Gunpla, now build a Guntank
I’ve been waiting for you to do a pacific Sherman since I started watching your channel. This thing looks incredible, can’t wait for the rest of the series.
Awesome! There's a vid on here somewhere showing jeeps being prepped with asbestos paste...they used their bare hands!
You can never comprehend the excitement I went through after the notification of a new night shift upload popped up. Beautiful build as usual
The greenstuff and baby powder thing absolutely blew my mind. I've been watching tutorials for making cloaks and fabric with it for a long time and never have they had something like this, which made it so simple!
Legend is back!
Still waiting for the poor 279 to be finished
Always a crowning of a long hard work week to find a papa Night Shift upload! Top job as always!
0:10 night shift is just a chill guy
I agree
most of my project starts because I see a cheap kit, and I like this way to work
As soon as I saw Night Shift uploaded I screamed with excitement
I'm always amazed by how much detail you cram into these models, well done Uncle. Can't wait to see it weathered!
The most mad part was when I saw these nails left from planks on sides of the tank. Great done! All the best for You! ;)
Outstanding job on that Marine Corps tank. Looking forward to seeing how you paint it and the diorama you build for it.
Martin, I have been watching your videos for some years now. IT is amazing how you have evolved to become such an accomplished model and diorama builder! Whenever I watch one of your videos, I feel like picking up my stuff once again.
Hello, my friend. Another great built really loved. The side panels that you made out of plastic good job. Can't wait to see you paint it

Love this, built a similar one in 1/16 scale as an RC tank with lots of scratch built items including the trunks and wooden sheets
You are the best modeler on the planet my friend!

Amazing- probably the best I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait for the next part!
These videos always make my night! Great work!
Tip - I place a few drops of water in the plastic bag I keep my putty in, seems to work
Might be worth looking at the Tank Museum Bovington Sherman DD photos for the waterproofing.

You could build a Warhammer Leman Russ Tank one day. Would be cool to see one being painted and built by you
Beautiful I can't wait till you paint it.
So it's basically an OOB build this time.. :D
Looking great so far!
Great video. Definitely book marking it. Thanks from Ottawa Ontario Canada 🍁
