Thanks for the great video which was very informative. I haven't used this rig and will give it a try. About what fish does it target? This is my question and thanks in advance for the answer when you have time. Also something about History. I visited beautiful Eastbourne when I was a teenager in the summer of 1972 at an English language school and stayed for about a month. There were many schools then there for foreigners and there were students from all nations of the world. I had a great time and I remember those carefree years with nostalgia. I don't know if these schools still exist, that teach the English language. I remember that time Alice Cooper's song "schools out for ever" was number one and all the stores were playing it. Eastbourne was a place full of life and yang people!!
The wessex rig is good tbh i should use it more It allows you to use smaller hooks one or two above and a larger hook below This allows you to both fish for smaller fish using worms on the top hook/s And larger species at the same time on the bottom with squid and fish baits. Good rig if your only fishing with one rod. Eastbourne is the same tbh lots of tourists from all over. And schools out is a great tune! Thanks for watching :)
well done jason great demonstration on how to make the Wessex rig great video
Cheers fella :)
Excellent instructional video. This rig is quite versatile in that it can also be fished down tide from a boat. Cheers,
Cheers ken might give it a go when next on boat too :)
Nice one thanks a good easy to understand rigmaking tutorial I will have a go at these rigs now I know what they are used for thanks
Cheers frank keep me posted on how you get on :)
Good job
Another great rig making demo. will have to give this one a go. thanks.
I am keen to give it a go myself to be honest, to have the ability to fish a larger bait on the bottom and smaller baits above is some what appealing!
@@TheEastbourneFisherman if you could include it in a fishing vid that would be great. good luck J
