The subject of the paranormal has led me to the conclusion, that there are a lot of people, myself included, who would want their lives to be better. Some people are able to accept how things are, some people do their best to try and change things for the better through self-improvement, and some people are just plain desperate for instant change, by any means necessary. There's an entire industry dedicated to emptying the wallets of that last group, and it's pretty terrible because the victims are often those in most need of help, whether from personal illness, loneliness or tragedy. I don't mean you guys btw, you offer grade-A entertainment and genuinely fascinating stories, rather i mean those selling crystals, spell-books and other assorted BS.
Agreed! And I’ve been an idiot who has tried silly instant fixes before. Doesn’t work. Like Ben always says you have to do the hard spiritual work if you want spiritual benefits that won’t hurt you.
I will say I met with a hypnotist twice that charges hundreds of dollars a session…and it was worth every penny. I suffered from misophonia (an aversion to sound that causes rage, for me specifically it was the sound of eating) for 32 years and two weeks after the second session I sat down with my family to have Christmas dinner and enjoyed it for the first time ever.
I’ve been walking around in a state of shock ever since haha. But I do agree with what you’re saying completely. But there are, I guess, miracles. This was certainly one.

Very interesting about the DNA as language theory...made me immediately think of the Logos, as in the Gospel of John: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Now, how do we bring together these two concepts of language/acoustics and light to get the whole picture?

The way I described the DNA water phenomenon is like a cast mold, a scaffolding of molecules, a Rupert sheldrake morphogenetic field. The antenna that sends and receives biophotons.
