      @@samuelsiu7475 Ive went from becoming anemic along with ibs (arguably ibd) to almost 100% in 2 days after i quit eating gluten, it's actually comedic how I recovered. I stayed away from everything that had gluten (even if it was manufactered with wheat though the food did not contain it) for about a month, month and a half. Ive accidentally had some meat marinated with a sauce that contained gluten in it recently and i feel fine. I feel since the amount of gluten in chicken stock, after it is cooked with meat on a grill, is a massive difference than having bread, cake, flour tortillas, etc. But with that being said I still know my body doesnt react to gluten well so staying away from it allows me to get away with incidents like that.

    I became addicted to the videos from Dr. Berg. There is so much to learn about our bodies, and it is a real treasure to have it explained point by point, so we (who are not educated on the topic) can learn and connect the dots. It would be great if Dr. Berg can cover a topic about nasal polyps and what we need to do in order to get rid of them or to reduce them without the surgery. I believe many people who suffer from allergies or sinusitis have the same problem without even knowing that...

    I stopped Gluten about 8 months ago. Glad I did. I was tested and was told I was not celiac, and not allergic to gluten but stopping gluten has improved my health. I then decided to find out exactly what I was allergic to. I found out I was highly allergic to barley. Then I discovered that barley is added to most wheat flour because it helps bread rise. So I assume it was the barley causing my issue. I then started using Gastro Comfort by NOW pharmaceuticals. This has also helped. Added regular probiotics and small amount of psyllium fiber daily and my IBS seldom flares up now.

      In Canada and the US, glyphosate is sprayed on wheat before a harvest because it helps dry it out. This has been for the last 12 years. I think that creates inflammation too. In the last couple of years they started using it in the UK after banning it for many years. Glyphosate is RoundUp and I have a feeling it dries out the intestines like it does the wheat. It's in potatoes too.

    I had c diff last January, was treated with metronidazole. Was tested for toxins, came back negative. Took a vitamin D and calcium supplement a week later, ended up in ER with intense stomach aches and cramping. Was treated with antinausea meds, and ketorolac for pain and inflammation. Took some antacids for really bad acid reflux too. A week later got bad diarrhea again. Got tested for c diff again. Was positive. Was treated with vancomycin. I also took probiotics while taking the vancomycin. When I finished the vancomycin I also started taking the Florstar (2 capsules a day). Was tested 2 weeks later for toxins. Came back negative. I have been taking the Bioplus probiotics and the Florstar since then. It's been almost 9 months since the last test came back negative. I had to pretty much eat a baby food diet the first 2 months after my recurring infection due to how hard it was to digest anything. I cut out all grains except quinoa and rice. I only ate chicken for meat, and very cooked vegetables (nothing that was cruciferous or hard to digest). I slowly introduced 1 new food item every 3 days. I have stayed away from red meats and shell fish/seafood as I was told they were very likely to be contaminated with c diff. My question is, how long after a negative toxin test am I considered out of the danger zone for recurring infection? And should I keep avoiding the red meats and seafood/shellfish? I do eat fish, and poultry. I drink milk and eat plain yogurt. I very rarely eat things containing sugar and haven't eaten any sugar substitutes yet. I eat lentils, beans and nuts. Not eating uncooked veggies yet. I eat a variety of fruits. Have started eating some wheat, flaxseed, almond flour, corn flour. I just don't want to get the infection again. Also, if I take antibiotics again, is it very likely I will get the c diff infection again?

Because the cramps continued, i went to Urgent Care as a precaution. The traditional medicine prescribed drugs for di, gastric and antibiotics in addition to a bland diet and frequent small meals. I did not see improvement, only lost weight (muscle atrophy wasting due to low protein intake on that silly diet). When i followed Dr. Berg's plans, i had immediate positive results. Bonus benefit, I finally got rid of the fat belly and lost a healthier 10 lbs. I am still doing the intermittent fasting (16 hours) Best of health to you!

      1. Serapeptase in an empty stomach morning and night
      2. Slippery Elm -morning and night
      3. Probiotics, rotate through different strains to not over populate with one type -morning and night
      4. Marshmallow root - morning
      5. Prenatal Vitamins (with iodine) take with food in the morning
      6. Saccharomyces boulardii

      I hope you're just joking because meat-only diets will kill you faster. there are other ways to go around fixing colon inflammation without having to avoid eating veggies and fruit. real experts say that humans should consume meat once or twice a week. There's lots of evidence saying keto is a terrible diet. Keto is great for losing weight, but that doesn't mean it's a good diet in the long run. especially for your heart. heck, you can lose weight just eating pizza every day as long you don't go over your calories. This is what keto does to your body, it fills you up faster and gives a sense of fulness so you're not eating much and thus losing weight. Anyway, at the end the day it is your life, you do you, but don't tell people, this is a true fact.

But when it's not the season of these fruits I start to feel unconfortable and pain in my colon. These fruits help me a lot, I'm really free and don't make a diet at that time. It totally changes how the body functions, even hormones, so it would help a lot of people, even those with colons bc it would give the info abt colon health and all that organ does. Thanks for considering this!

      I had my colon removed due to inflamatory collitis years ago with ileostomy. I got adjusted to it very fast - within months I wa seating almost everything in smaller amounts and learned what caused blockages etc. I avoided spicy foods though. I experinced no changes in hormones and my life was really good. I had a pouch surgery in 2007 which took around a year to adjust to and now my body functions pretty much normal except I obviously need to go to the toilet more often. I think you need to listen to your body and be guided what works for you. Most of the issue usually arise through stress and staying happy and resting when tired is key , for me at least :)

      @@GalacticWoman I'm glad u've had a good experience with it. I have not. I started getting prolapses less than a month after surgery and they often occur weekly, if not daily, staying out for 8+ hrs and nearly a foot. I also have a stoma hernia, hiatal hernia, umbilical hernia, and organ prolapses. Anything with fiber gives me a blockage, so my diet is basically meat and veggie juice. I was vegan prior and now my life feels like a total 180. My hormones have been super screwed up bc the hepatic portal vein is cauterized, and this vein helps dump excess estrogen and other hormones into the colon for elimination. Thus mine are not being eliminated properly, giving me a lot of hormonal issues. Thyroid is also affected.
      I had mine removed due to ehlers danlos syndrome.... This surgery seems to work best for those with IBD, but most I've talked to with EDS often struggle with a lot of complication from this surgery

    • @GalacticWoman
      @GalacticWoman 4 роки тому +3

      @@summersalix I am sorry to hear of your struggles with this. I can relate to an extent as my eary days post surgery were not that great with various issues arising which however thankfully settled down later. I am not a medic but have worked in natural health store for a few years so have met many people with simmilar issues although never met anyone with EDS . Regarding diet I know non soluble fibvre is not great for me so i tend to stick with soluable one. My best meals post surgery were potaoes in any form with fish or meat and some carrots . or white rice with carrots ( all well cooked) and plain yoghut or stewed apple. No skins. As the body reuses over 75% of proteins i never worried about adequate protein intake. I wonder if your diet of meat and veggie juice is best- i stopped anything raw as cooked felt better for me despite of the current raw is best narrative. So if you want nutrients have liver once a week - that should do it and the rest make sure its easy digest only. Regarding hormones - thats something only an endricologist can advise i expect based on your specific status. Of course there are herbs that modulate them but these must be adjusted to your specific case too. Personally I dont see anything that is "genetic" as insurmantable- the epigentics may be innits infancy yet but that may change and we may see developments that will assist those who have lost hope of any recovery in the future. The future is still unwritten :)

    If you divide the onion into two equal parts from the middle from the protruding apex, you will see concentric circles arranged from the largest to the smallest.
    The anatomy of the intestine is as follows;
    The outermost is the large intestine, and the small intestines are lined up inside the large intestine.
    The thick part in the outermost layer of the onion resembles the "large intestine".
    The membrane of the onion is similar to the peritoneum of the human.
    The protrusion at the top of the onion resembles the rectum region.
    Onions can be excellent cleansers for the intestines.

    Wow, this came at the right time ... just had my colonoscopy, I'm 65 and like the majority of seniors we need to take care for things like diverticulitis; most people get it later on in life. The list makes sense e.g. gluten free, but ONE thing I'm missing on the list is making sure to maintain a high fiber diet especially if there are signs of diverticulitis. Then I'd really welcome Dr Berg's thoughts on fiber and colon health ...
