Your "in" went to the pcv valve. And you will have to remove your catch can to empty it...

I just recently changed my air intake filter and pvc valve and it had oil and gunk from blow by. This catch can would definitely help but I live in california where they make up stupid emission laws and this would definitely fail the test.

Then you will have to run CRC intake cleaner or Seafoam through your pcv system annually.

How would this fail the test? The whole point is to prevent your engine from burning oil and other nasty stuff that would end up in the atmosphere. If an OCC really does fail the test, California needs to relearn what "emissions" are

@@hypr1 I dunno...California has weird people that run the state. Since I don't make the rules, I have to follow them. Here is what it states: "Unfortunately, installing an oil catch can will cause your vehicle to fail the smog inspection. The smog technician will have to identify your vehicle as having a modified PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system."

@@hypr1 I did end up buying the catch cans after my initial post and ran it until my last smog check 4 months ago. Took it off and was too lazy to put it back on.
