To the confused and/or curious, this animation is based on the book titled All Tomorrows. Each creature shown were once humans. If the lore has piqued your interest, I suggest looking it up.
The clip with a ruin haunter is the most depressing one in my opinion, the way he drops his tool and covers his head shows how terrified and angry he is due to Qu ruining star people's world, it just hurts so much :(
This is wonderful. It startled me, when the astromorph noticed my watching them. It felt like rediscovering All Tomorrows, watching this. I'm honestly in awe.
1:58 still has got to be the most horrifying fate, Imagine being a literal amalgamation of flesh and maintain sentience. . . But hey atleast they managed to evolve.
I wonder if they grew more, and if the new generation of them had the same level of intelligence. Also, did they eat eachothers when the Qu left because they ate the Qu’s waste.
Seeing it like this really brings out the horror of the situations. I feel the drawings we have all become accustom too felt almost like charts or diagrams of how discoverers of old would draw an flora or fauna they have never seen before, they sent sterile. But the moment you give them color and breathe life into these drawing, the real tragedy of the situation sinks in.
While the Mantelopes were tragic beings, their appearance is graceful while grotesque. They sort of resemble Chinese dragons, with their maines and whiskers, in my opinion.
I saw an animation making all tommorow creatures dance, and no hate to that creator because it was just a joke but I hate that it gets more views then this animation that obviously taken way more time and makes it appear more serious and like the book.

I agree, this novel truly succeeded in turning human beings as a whole into completely alien monsters and getting the reader to feel that. Its a very dehumanizing concept and very horror in that right.
@@AmyStrikesBack how are those two things completely different? A machine has the capacity to kill more easily than organic life! Something I love about Kosemen’s designs is that you can still see traces of humanity even in the modified forms. Temptors, despite looking like living decorations, have eyes eerily similar to our own. Same goes for the swimmers and the tool-breeders. Lopsiders have an odd, asymmetrical body plan, but their hands are unquestionably human. And most of them still have very human-like ears and appendages. Really nails in the fact that these are all still homo sapiens, in some odd way. Very, very cool.
