This makes me want to see an "experience game" like Scorn, but set in the All Tomorrows universe where you kinda are like an observer / chronicler watching the whole All Tomorrows saga unfold.
The moan of the bug facer is tragic yet melodic, the 1:33 conveyed a similar emotion. The asymetric person seeing what once was, a dystopian path to hope. The pterosapien reminds that there is much work to be done, but with little time. And the "Who are you, Gravital?" perfectly tops it all of implying that these species have no form of memories in the past, seeing us as unrecognizable, truly an emotional journey beyond my words.
That's a solid analysis, though the "Who are you, Gravital?" could be seen as the Asteromorphs calling out the Gravitals for forgetting where they come from by becoming the most inhuman out of all the descendants of humanity. The Gravitals and the New Empire were both descendants of humankind but they rejected their "humanity" because they got lucky and found technologies left by their ancestors.
@@MCManny-jc5zb They didn't reject their humanity "just like that", they were basically forced to leave their bodies behind because their home-star expanded and roasted their planet. But yes, they were delusional AF and refused to recognize their kin.

The scene at 2:11 (and the illustration it's based on) is so fascinating to me, mostly because of the sheer amount of unspoken implications/questions. We can infer based on the preceding text in the book that it's a rogue Gravital engineer that fell in love with one of its own subjects (and even that’s a stretch - whose to say it was Their subject and not someone else’s?) and that this love was clearly reciprocated - but how did that happen? What does creating a lineage of subjects that are sapient and capable of exercising free will as much as their creators even entail? How did they blend in with their non-sentient brethren while still maintaining the desire to live freely? The relationship seen here - was this a secret romance masquerading as a master-servant relationship, or did they have no relationship whatsoever until they met outside the constraints of machine society somehow? Did she love this Machine because they were directly responsible for her existence or in spite of it? Did this Machine love this subject because they were more or less her god, and therefore she probably couldn't reject them without severe consequences, or because she made them feel like an equal where most polite Machine society shunned them at best? Did they choose to live with their subjects full-time and reject Gravital society altogether, or were they doing all of this in secret? Was this a case of love prevailing above all else, or simply a different form of upholding the status quo? I dunno. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'd watch a third empire play about these two. It'd probably be a tragedy, but it'd be a damn compelling one.

I believe that in the future for Part 3, we will have the;
Martins, Star People, Hand-Flappers, Flyers, Striders, Hedonists, Parasites, Bone Crushers, Modular People, Subjets, Snake People, Subjects (Others), Killer Folk, Symbiotes, Asteromorph God, New Machines, Amphicephali and Author's Species.
*_~To finish the arc._*
it is cool, i love the sounds that the all tomorrows races make
Edit: if possible, i would love to get the sound assets of the species please :>
I like how the hyper intelligent species are able to perceive that they are being observed by us.
This is very stylized, I love it!
What disturbs me the most abault all tomorrows is how both human and not human the creatures looks, they may be hyper deformed, but a lot of the human biology is still noticible (even on the qu, wierdly enough), and this series only makes it more clear
Bro ur talented, i wish sumbody fund u so tht u could make a whole webseries on ALL TOMORROWS , ur animation is top notch level.
0:38 I’m not crying, you’re crying. 🥲
Context?
@ The Pterosapiens got a pretty raw deal. Not only did they have congenital heart failure that killed them around the age of 23; the Gravitals eradicated them for literally no reason, hence the graveyard.
2:11 THAT FIT ATE THO 😭✋
Nah she cooked with this one
@@NotAi-d9w she cooked and left no crumbs frr tho
Sad most of them got wiped out by floating metallic balls.
These may be the best ones on youtube yet
It was a good time for the bug faces until they ended up as a different species and I feel bad for them and even I know they evolved into a different kind of creature that makes me sad 1:52
I love these, my favorite was the Subject, so disturbing and yet so well done.
I do wonder if there will be a part three?
I love the creepy walk of the terrestrial
amazing work, i cant tell if this is 3d or really complex puppet animation, and i love the little details of the drawings taken to account
