My friend might be able to get me a job doing powder coating. This was a great video to help me see & understand what powder coating is now a feel a lil more confident to apply for the job I'm only 26 years of age and can't wait. Thanks good video looks like so much f'n fun
Great vids. watched both parts. Amazing how people are though. In the first video people were hanging on to every word he said like they were being hypnotized. The second video about half way through most everyone were talking about everything else and the instructor was basically only talking to 1 or two people. Almost like once the majority found out what they wanted, they were no longer interested in the rest of his presentation. Problem with that is once you quit paying attention because you now think you know what's going on, you end of asking dumbass questions on things he went over already.. I see this all the time and it's annoying as hell. Great presentation, answered a lot of my questions that other presentations don't go over.
That guy who made a comment about calling his wife a f’n b*tch for doing his laundry and using a fabric softener should do his own damn laundry. Very disrespectful.
According to Vince, the demonstrator, the possible fumes from baking the powder coat could turn the controlled flame in a propane or natural gas oven into a major fire. Not a problem with the heating element in an electric oven.
Thanks! I'm surprised that the hot elements wouldn't cause a fire risk, but no need to chance it and guessing it could vary by powder type, etc. Electric heating element it is then!
There really is no problem using a gas oven (I have used one for 12 years). I don't spray any powder in the oven so you don't get a 14 to 1 ratio and a big bang. LOL I built my own oven, and burners, and control it with a pid controller. I don't have any safety features on my oven so I won't leave the shop with the oven running. My big oven is 7'x 7' x7' inside and I can bring it to temp in about 8 minutes, my small oven is 36"w x 4'6" t x 32" deep and I can bring it to temp in about 5 minutes

Congratulations! I hope you get the job!

Hi what part number is the regulator and dehumidifier at the dual voltage gun?
Thanks Bernhard
cool video artist Mac
You are losing an incredible amount of heat leaving the oven door open for that long. Consitentcy is the hallmark of quality results.
Normally, he wouldn't, but he was doing a demonstration.

If he learned to do his own laundry... his problem would be solved. But he probably has a list of things that are "women's work". Hmm.
Couldn't see how he was cleaning the gun out. had his back to the camera. Otherwise good video.
you should fix the air leaks it would be easier to hear what the teacher is saying
What is the issue with a propane oven?
