I always though this was one of the best songs we played with Straight as Quo, it rocks like heck and it also plays like heck it must have taken Mr Rossi and Mr Young and Mr Parfitt ages putting this together, I wonder if they all had one of those funny cups of tea like Rick did when he wrote The Mystery Song ha ha, Brilliant song Brilliant band👍👍👍
Status Quo = great band name. Great and pure Rock'n'Roll music. Uncredible great rhythm section. Rick was one of the best rhythm guitar players. Status Quo are all great musicians. Plenty of fantastic songs. Always fun to listen and rock to Status Quo.

Just lost my beloved dog and listening to Quo trying to heal.. Naturals and stalwarts at what they do.. Perfectionists.. I really miss playing the drums and I don't mean miss with the sticks..
i know the john was a good drummer back in the days. lol. but who think is better. jeff rich or matt letley ???. ive only seen quo once, and that was only last year. and im seeing againg this year.
Quo the best of the best seen them all over the UK and they still rock just a shame rick had to be taken to start his own band in the sky R.I.P Rick go rock heaven .
how great is that i thought i was the only 1 who just loves them! iv,e been a fan since paper plane, matchstick men, and no 1 does it quite like rick on guitar, he certainly reaches parts that no 1 else can on guitar, and elsewhere, if u no what i mean!!!! must go now. by the way i,m a 63 oldgoing on 18. great song 4 typing 2.

What an exciting song! An instant fave! Status Quo is new to me. Just discovered them in December, and I am enjoying song after song...especially this one. How is it I never heard of them until now? If not for a friend here in the US who is originally from Sussex, odds are I would not have learned of them. Conversely, I have been a Slade fan since 1974 when I bought "Slayed" on a lark. I have almost everything they ever made, and I like a lot of British bands. That said, I hope someone can help me find an answer to a question. Prefacing, I first heard the crowd chant, "Whoa-oa-oa-oa! Whoa-oa-oa-oa!" on Slade Alive 2. It was an intro to the song "We'll Bring the House Down." I thought that crowd chant was unique to Slade. Now, 29 years later since I bought that LP, and while listening to numerous live Quo tracks, I hear the audiences doing the same chant. Question: What is the origin of the chant, or with who is it most associated? Did it start with Slade? Is that actually more of a crowd thing for the Quo? Is that a common chant for several bands from England/UK? Whatever the answer, it seems to be unique to the UK. I sincerely hope someone can assist me with finding the answer. No matter what the answer, as Noddy Holder would bellow at the top of of his lungs, "Keep on rockin'!" Thank you so much for this posting.
Still own the single record where this one was the B Side, think it was Rockers' Rollin'. Quo's B Sides were the best at that time. Wish I ever wrote just one song like this one!
R.I.P Rick! You may be gone but not forgotten. your the reason why I always wanted to play guitar because I loved your engery on stage. You will always be my inspiration.. Fly High with the angels & Thankyou!
I bet Rick was. Rocking on entering through them pearly gates, thanks for some great memories over the years, 46 to be exact was just a skinny 11 year way back in 71 but rocked with the boys ever since, Rick, Allan, John and Francis the true quo.
But The Beatles certainly knew a few more chords than dear old Quo bless em, still they did try you have to give em that. And in case you hadn't noticed, only 2 of the original Quo in the band nowadays, and Parfitt is on his last legs.
Clive Bindley Rick wasn't an original Quo member Rick joined Quo after they changed their name from traffic jam to Status Quo and pictures of matchstick men was already in the charts
Love this song. Nothing beats being at a Quo concert. High energy rocking for 2 hours. Miss Rick so much.
