My first Rock-Concert EVER was in Cologne/ Germany on Sunday 23rd Febuary 1975 at Sartory-Saal. They played so loud that afterwards I could not hear for 3 days.... But since then I love the 'frantic four'.❤❤❤ R.i.P. Rick and Alan
Dam,,! I was a 10 year old back then, born May 23rd 1968 , but I 1st heard the quo a few years before this,! I liked the quo from back then,! & can I say that my late gran liked the quo as well,! RIP , Gran, 1989,, 😢 , & RIP , Rick ,! 😢 , God Bless from northern Ireland UK 🤝🇬🇧
Wasn't among my favourites in the time i became a strong Quo follower back in around 1979 (Whatever you want had just been released when i got on the Quo-Train). This title was still in the BRAVO magazine Charts here in germany when i started headbanging to their stuff. Years later i realized how cool and groovy "Accident Prone" is. I can listen to this classic over and over again nowadays. Greetings from germany.
Happy happy days discovering The Quo as an 11 year old in 78! Loved them then n love them now-blasting it all the way from Dumfries to Newcastle after work 3/9/24!
This comes from the album "if you can't stand the heat" which In my opinion was the start of a downhill spiral of Quo , it was an embarrassment of an album and ended the real Quo of the earlier years.
This is a DISCO song, not a Rock song. The Drumming is technically DISCO Drumming. QUO have done a few songs that are technically DISCO songs. RAOTW & WSOL are big DISCO songs. If the Bass Kick Drum is on the ONE, ONE, ONE, ONE, ONE, ONE, ONE, then it is a DISCO song.
Ma Kelly is a top notch album - April Spring Summer and Wednesdays is one of my absolute faves of theirs. I do love this though, but only in recent years to be fair.
Francis is my least favourite member due to him destroying The Frantic Four and stealing Status Quo from Alan and John. Francis and Rick won the court cases, and the fans lost our Band.
After 1984's _End of the Road_ tour, Status Quo had intended to split, but contracts had to be honoured and an album was due. Rossi only agreed to do it without Lancaster, but the latter went to court to stop Rossi performing as Status Quo without him. The record company didn't care about Lancaster - it wanted Rossi and Parfitt, and so the court ruled in their favour.
Yep, fans really didn't know what was going on behind the scenes with Alan and Francis, even in the early 70s Rossi and Parfitt were trying to form a power trio with Kenny Jones because of Alan's domination within the band.
I'd totally forgotten about this song. Must be 45+ years since I've heard it. Great stuff.
Never grow old of listening the the Quo...So dam underated.
Damn is spelt with an 'n'
Obviously.
Forget the incorrect spelling,he is correct in what he says .So underrated.love the Quo.And yes underrated has 2 R's
R.i.P.Rick and Alan
Damn...I didnt know about Alan...may he RIP...
This was the REAL Quo. Saw them in 1976 at the Apollo Glasgow. I'm on the live album as well. Forgotten about this song.

The Mighty Quo! Although this song is too monotonous for me after a while
Never seen this before
Love Accident Prone. For me it’s Roll Over Lay Down…
I love Quo though this isn't the Quo I like , I can see why Lancaster left . Also the first time I've heard this song and yes , hopefully the last.

LOL, LAAAAAAAme
Not their greatest moment. Rather downhill from here sadly. Like a different band from the Ma Kelly days.

Francis is the best😊🎸⚡🎶💖
Decent song but still way off anything regarding the classic albums
