  • Started collecting in early 1998 because of a Corgi Batmobile and exploded into this beautiful collection of 60s, 70s and 80s toys. Most of my items were obtained at garage/yard sales in my area, local newspaper ads, shows, friends, family etc. I have been extremely lucky in my travels, I have met some very nice people along the way as well as some very odd people who collect......Wow! After my divorce I started selling this stuff, only keeping the best of course. Fun fun fun, enjoy :)

    born in 1961 and now almost 2 generations later I’ve always wondered where “time went?” Well, after seeing your video I now realize that “time” is well and living in your home! Wow! Such precious memories are rekindled watching your video. Interestingly enough it touched a few soft spots: amazement, wow’d, and almost a ....tear but of joy. Your collection is nostalgically beautiful. Thank you for sharing. 🙏

    From a collector to a collector, I'll share my toy epiphany. Having lost all interest in juvenile things (scale models, video games etc.) in my 20s, I replaced them with girls, cars and beer. In 1996 or 97 (26 years old), I was bored one afternoon and went for a ride on my motorcycle. I was passing Atomic Comics in Mesa Az and decided to stop. I was walking around the store, still bored with all the same superheros, and modern day stuff. At the back of the store there was a shelf near the ceiling and on the shelf was a pack of action figures that looked oddly familiar. Everything from what I could see was written in Japanese. I asked the attendant to let me have a closer look and when he handed me the box, I got this crazy rush of nostalgia. As if to unlock my childhood memory bank. It was ULTRAMAN! After staring at it for a few minutes I asked the guy how much and he said $60. Well that just popped my bubble. No Thanks!! He said, Ive had those figures in here unsold for years, how about I let you have them for half off? SOLD!! Well as if to give an addict dope, the internet was in its infancy. I started researching Ultraman and one page after another, I was led from one memory to another. By this time, Ebay is on the scene and Im going hog wild and driving my wife bonkers with what she deemed a dirty little hobby. To sum it up, I havent looked back and have been collecting ever since. I have just about purchased every example of a toy that I had as a kid that I can remember. I recently purchased a 1971 Marx Big Wheel in gently used condition and its the highlight of my collection, right next to my 1978 Marx Green Machine. AND I got rid of the wife but I still have my collection. M78 FTW HAHA

    If I say I’ve watched this video at least 10 times it’s probably been more like 20. I watched it just moments ago at quarter speed and still found something new or I should say I found another old memory. This time it was the Mattel Wizzer top. I had one with the very same colors too. Of all the collections I’ve seen on UA-cam yours is the most heartwarming of them all. I can see the passion in your finds and it’s displayed with love for the things from your childhood. Most of the displays on UA-cam are new toys placed together with equal parts of OCD and Detolfs, but yours is definitely one to appreciate for the time it took to bring it all together. 👍🏼✌🏼👌🏼😎

    From a child from the 70's/80's 48 yrs old now , this collection is absolutely amazing , museum quality and beyond nostalgic .Congrats to you my friend with having such a fine collection .Some highlights were the SSP Demolition Derby and Six Million Dollar Man , with Pulsar thrown into the display .Suggest adding some Micronauts to the collection.

    • @littlewink7950
      @littlewink7950  5 років тому +2

      Thanks for the compliments Carlos, Micronauts were the last toys for me, then I discovered women and Metal and surprisingly enough I never had any in my collection even though I really liked them alot, oh well. I have sold at least half of my collection that you see here, only keeping my Star Wars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox Superfast and movie related items now. I am very surprised of all the kind words over the years since I have posted this video and the amount of people who have liked it, thanks again :)

    Really nice collection.
    Question: There was a motorcycle toy that had a man sitting on it. I think he attached to the bike at the legs and hands. When the bike crashed, he flew off. I think the bike sat on some kind of ramp, and you pumped it up and it flew down the ramp. It was either late 60's or early 70's. I've always wondered what this toy was called. I loved playing with it as a kid.
