Hey bro, I'm 56 and very motivated by your videos. Is Temu worth buying equipment from? Keep it the great work!

I have ordered a number of items lately. I had purchased a Mikolo 3x3 rack from Amazon for like 549.00 and I thought that was a decent deal at the time. I know its not going to be the same build quality as a REP or as heavily built as a Titan even, but its plenty sturdy for the 65 year old me. I have a REP, TITAN and a Body Solid SPR 1000 rack. I was actually thinking I need less higher priced pieces at this age. So I happen to see a TEMU ad for like 390.00 for the same rack and thought for that much I will give it a try. I have this idea to connect two racks with a connector monkey bar. Turns out shipping was about the same speed as Amazon. About a week or less to deliver. Arrived in good shape even with the delivery guy dragging it up the driveway instead of a 2 wheel cart. I must have caught it when they just started carrying Mikolo and Syedee Fitness stuff. I got the Syedee assisted dip which was 440.00 other places for 284.00 and a chest fly for about 275.00. I now have a number of things I've ordered and in each case quite a lot less than Amazon. All were delivered on about the same time line so I think they have a warehouse in California for these larger items. The safety squat bar was 82.00 or I'd have never got one and that came from another seller on Temu and took about 8-10 days. I had a Titan one but it was left behind in a move. It was a lot more money. So my take on equipment is get what you will use at what is a reasonable budget. If you stick with it upgrades are easy to come by. Garage Gym Reviews has become somewhat of joke in that it seems its more about bragging the brand name equipment you have in your gym than how much you use it. That Parabody brand rack I used doing 390 when I was 57 years old was sold in the early 1990s. It cost about 220.00 new and its probably still out there being used somewhere. There are a lot of deals on FB marketplace, GOVDEALS.COM if the seller is close by. So far I have had one item from TEMU that was missing a washer part which was promptly replaced. Most likely it worked its way out of the box on its journey. That box did have a crack along a seam and I would bet it was was in the delivery person not the packing. Same issues happen with Titan orders I have gotten or even REP. Lastly for anyone working out, if you get a rack, get one with pin pipe safeties or heavy strap safeties. If it's a bench get the bolt on type safeties and don't forget to use them. The Patience - 5 lbs -10 lbs in strength gains a month is HUGE difference in a year.
