Heat shrink, but connectors for the airway. Good friend More uses on everything and they seem to work since I started using them they seem to work good for me because I already have the solder in them and when you turn the heat gun up on Thermo nuclear here then it just melts the solder inside the fitting.

With my 1 wire alternator I ran a battery cable from the alternator to the battery. Seams to work pretty good.

O'Really's came into the shop passing out those headlamps. They do it for commercial customers around Christmas time. Actually works decent. Hopefully it lasts more than 2 weeks.

When you get a soldering iron, get what they call a "Hot Lips" Instant heat, it connects to a 12-volt supply that plugs into the wall. You would love it. I use one daily on wiring. :)

Thanks for keeping us in Vids over the holidays. It means a whole hell of a lot to many of us out here heading into this special time. I know we're all supposed to be happy, happy, joy, joy, Christmassy, Yuletide, family-time and good cheer for a week or two, but, Damn, it does a guy good to see Puddin gettin' snappy in traffic at some bonehead. Kind of validates all of us out here getting cranky in shopping aisles, at intersections, and in parking lots. I fought the urge to explode on some dork honking behind me this morning while we were waiting for someone three cars ahead of us to turn into a parking lot. Best to you and yours, buddy! Looking forward to your builds in the upcoming year.

A little TLC, and maintenance on the trucks will keep your trucks driving happy, a long ways and a long time. It has been a while but when I was young most men in my neighborhood would do light maintenance on their vehicles on Saturday morning followed by cutting the grass. I like this routine, looking at many vehicles we had back then, the maintenance would alert me to problems coming up and was able to fix most thing before the breakdown or something worst would happen. I am getting a little too old to work on them now but I really like working on cars and truck myself. Also I like the saving on the labor cost when I did the work myself too.

Glad you got all the niggling points out of the way, you’ll feel a lot better driving it, and start to enjoy it once again, when you took the trip to the gas station and said “ Maybe you oughta ask Santa for some brains for Christmas” my wife said “ Puddin’ sounds like you when you’re driving”

Same thing happened to me on my sending unit. All the ethanol in the gas caused a dulled out potentiometer on the unit.
