This song for me is one more of the wonderful "classical ballads" by Julia Holter, like City Appearing, Betsy on the roof and Words i Heard. It moves me so much even if, in this years, is always harder to get moved by something. Thank you Julia.
Watching Julia and band perform live for already five times, and listening to her albums repeatedly, I still have no clue how she's doing it (even when trying to analyze it with a musician's ear). This music is floating all around you, but you can't "grab" it. It's there, but it's untouchable, and beautiful. Just like as if you are in a dream world. I love to be in Julia's dream world. This song is a true masterpiece, and so is Evening Mood. Beautiful.
