I spent the day as a billionaire in NYC to see what it is like to live like one! Thanks, Clearco for sponsoring today’s video. Use my link to get from $10K to $10M in funding for your business: investor.clear.co/l/sarahfunk/ PS - No, of course, I didn't really spend that much money, but it sure was fun to pretend! PPS - Looking to get a luxury vacation to NYC planned? Let my team do that for you with our concierge vacation planning services: sarahfunky.com/nyc-concierge/
Money DOES make you happy. Try going 2 months without being able to pay your rent. Try going a week without being able to buy food. Try eating the healthier way possible without money. What do you think would happen if someone walked up to you right now and gave you $50,000 in cash? HAPPINESS. 🥰
Sarah, you knocked it outta the park w this video! Brilliant concept, wonderfully shot and spectacular editing!!! The only thing your longtime fans will miss is a cameo appearance from Isabella! Awesome job Sarah!
I will be honest, I think the Four Seasons was way nicer, and was only $1500/n. You dont get your own private chef, but the room service food was probably the best meal I have ever had.
7:00 an anti-fog shower mirror would be a blessing for all men, as we get the closest shave when our pores are wider open. And they are never wider open than in a hot, steamy shower.
in NYC its not that hard. Even as a guy whos not into shopping, I could easily spend that in a day here. A trip to rick owens, Bergdoff Goodman, dinner at Le Bernardin, front and center table at The Box on a weekend night. If there's any change left I could still go to the diamond district and scoop up some ounces of gold bars. And thats just a few hours of the day.
@@SarahFunky I'm really far from N.Y. I'm trying to find my birth parents like I told u I found out I was adopted. It's a tough deal but I like the West Coast I'm not sure if you've ever been to Oregon
Damn, what a great concept for a video Sarah!! This one was so fun. I enjoyed being a billionaire for a day with you. So cool! Cheers from your non billionaire friend here in NYC and have a great weekend!
You won’t regret it. Not to be gauche but I’ve been exposed to fine dining since childhood and while I was in college (2016) my friends and I did Chef’s Table for my birthday dinner. Certainly world class, every bite was delectable and we left thoroughly satisfied. A must if you are a fan of seafood and shellfish.. very much encapsulates what NYC fine dining is all about. Very much Japanese and French inspired which comes together as in my opinion to be classic American Haute Cuisine which is the mix and traditional technique with non traditional everything else. Imho a league above La Bernardin. At least from my personal experience.
It is really cool that you got to be like the billionaires for a day! The hotel suite looked really impressive although it looked way too large for me. I probably would not say that if I was a billionaire though, lol! I do like your message at the end that money can't buy happiness as I strongly believe that. Great video!
ahh yes, the ending part was best, real happiness comes from being with loved ones. As for the big hotel, luxuries, the shopping, nothing impressed me. A meal with my friends with a $5 lamb gyro over a movie, walk around city brings more joy than just tossing money around on expensive places. Thx for the tour Sarah.
I have to say how much I appreciate that you repeat clothing in your photos and videos. You always look amazing and it's so much more realistic and sustainable than influencers who churn and burn clothing to not look the same twice.
Hi Sarah ! Loved your video ! Very nice and feel good .But I gotta say the hotel/ hotels in NYC luxurious as they may be ,aren’t a patch on the luxury hotels in Europe. Well, it’s the decor and ambience I guess, classical aesthetics and the best of European culture ,have stayed in some in Paris , Monaco, and others , nothing like them, sheer beauty! Loved what you said at the end, that money doesn’t buy happiness, only security, so true!!! All the very best to you,and may you have great success in all that you undertake, you have a gorgeous baby ! Blessings on him/her ! From India with best wishes🙏🏼
$3000 a night is not that crazy in NYC. But this suite Sarah is showing looks pretty normal. I much prefer the presidential suite in the Four Seasons Hotel. $ 50000 per night. It emits elegance, taste and class.
Sarah, how can I get Clearco to sponsor me? Wow, you are so lucky to spend the day in the life of a Billionaire. When you went shopping on 5th Ave you reminded me of pretty Woman. Money might not buy happiness but it sure will buy what I want! Thank you Sarah it was fun dreaming!👍👍👩
I always enjoy your channel. You look so much flabbergasted to see the auto-toilet in the hotel. Please come to Japan every single house has the auto-toilet.
I loved this video on how to meaninglessly spend $64k! All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others !! Happiness is not found in ordinary things, unfortunately.
Wow, I’m so glad my friends and I did the tasting menu at Chef’s Table back when it was new and when it was just one small counter around the kitchen. One of the best meals I’ve had in my life and it was not cheap but was NOT $400 a person back then. Sheesh
Funny thing is, they'd find more fulfillment and joy by spending that $64k on somebody's tuition, or funding a food bank or a shelter, or a literacy program, or...
@Yacht & Champagne Yeah there's an element of jealousy absolutely. But honestly it just upsets me to know people live like this whilst so many people are starving to death or dying due to lack of basic healthcare, or being sold into the sex industry to make money for their families etc.
In Conrad Bangalore India, we have television in synch and the room is at US $130 when I stayed in Oct 2018. The final sentence is a gem. Money brings security
Thanks for the ending about true values. On the other hand, after "fun with calculators", a billion dollars would let you spend that much money 365 days a year for over 40 years!
To be a billionaire you have to crush your enemies into dust, stab a bunch of people in the back, and generally be an a-hole for years. I will pass. a nice air bnb in the village and McSorleys with a slice and a dirt water hot dog for me!
I have less than a dollar in my wallet. Illness changed my life in a flash. Now I live in poverty with barely enough to survive. One day of billionaire spending would change a life.
oh even in the bedroom those side tables by the sofa are by caste designs and they are around 3k a pop. I love those side tables. Very nice. I also believe the sofa may be from holly hunt? or ddc/minotti and VERY expensive. I wonder if the mattress is a Hastens lol. Theres one thats like 200 grand for a mattress....lol
Not counting taxes but it it would long term capital gains tax - if you had 1 billion in MLP stocks at 10% apr....you'd get 83,333,333 per year, or 6.9 million per month, or 228,310 per day, or 9,512 per hour even when you sleep, or 158 per minute and finally, $2.64 per second for you to exist.
The comment section must know, fulfillment and appeasement are two different things. And most people are not looking for fulfillment, only people with very boring lives are.
The crazy thing is billionaires don't have the time to go watch a play! They just don't. Most would rather invest than spend it on something like that.
How do so expensive hotels survive (with like 30k per night)? How many paying guests can they possibly have on regular basis when most people can't afford it? Fantastic video!
most of that building is apartments. the hotel there is a branch of Hyatt, so any losses incurred are tax write offs to offset their profitable hotels.

Gross. Billionaire status shouldn't exist. 🤷🏽♂️ Eat the rich.
You think its fun to pretend to be a billionare? You do realize they are comtributing to the current decay of american society. Disgusting.

Very nice video, it's always a pleasure!
True it brings security...I do not have it ,I am poor so I am always worried about paying bills..
The Helicopter 🚁 ride is actually a good deal & was useful information amongst the fantasy. Stay funky Sarah 👍
You nailed the video with your end message. Absolutely loved it. Great content.

WOW the ending! You said it. Brought tears.
This video was amazing, a girl could only dream. I would love to experience this for a day especially living in NYC.
That helicopter ride was THE BOMB 💣 . Great work!
YAYYYY! I SO wanted to watch this video for the longest time ever!!
I loved it! Specially the message at the end :). I do hope there really was something in the BG bag for you to keep ;)
I quite literally gagged when I saw how much you spent in just one day. Like, gagged and my eyes watered.
I didn't really spend it haha But, yes, I agree it was excessive!

That 30k a night is something to a millionaire. Nothing to a billionaire. Especially after a week there.
Imagine someone to spend more than your whole year of full time work in on night at a hotel.
I always enjoy your channel. You look so much flabbergasted to see the auto-toilet in the hotel. Please come to Japan

For $30k a night you better get a butler
And a personal chef!
Loved this!
Sarah our Governor of Illinois JB Pritzker is a billonaire. His family owns the Hyatt hotels.

did she really spend a day in that hotel room? I think she simply partnered with them for this ad, she had practically no luggage.
I don't even earn $64,353 a year. I do however budget very well and have a few investments & adequate savings.
This video was sooo good
Funny thing is, they'd find more fulfillment and joy by spending that $64k on somebody's tuition, or funding a food bank or a shelter, or a literacy program, or...
Honestly literally so many better things could be bought with that money, agreed.
I get what you mean but she’s also promoting these businesses that provide jobs for the workers
@Yacht & Champagne it's nothing to do with jealousy. Just an understanding of what does and doesn't bring people fulfillment.
