Most beginner DJs private events are few and far between. The great majority fill the gaps with public gigs in local bars. These DJs can use these gigs as excellent opportunities to hone their microphone skills and develop their performer personalities. Never let a gig go to waste. Use each one to help become even better for the next one.
Well said... Something I am a little familiar with as my father taught my brothers & I about announcing & yes your tips are on point & I would add practice & read out loud as well, sharing these tip with my guys❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Great tips Jason! I would also recommend doing a focused voice warm up before you speak. Just a few deep breaths can make a huge difference in calming nerves and getting your voice ready to deliver
Thank you Jason! I have a few weddings coming up and I need to find my Mc voice and not choke. I’m going to take your advice and write down the formalities in both English and Spanish so I can practice them and be fluent when the time comes.
I totally understand what you mean, I’m getting so much better at it. It’s gotten to the point to where I dropped the script and I can’t wait to get into it and grab that microphone and start the event It’s definitely a time consuming thing to practice Great advice here! ❤
I'm getting in the habit of practicing my big announcements on site during sound check. It's helping! Thank you for all your helpful content!
