I have that exact Sta-Rite pool heater and it’s 15 years old. In 15 years it has broken on me 5 times and the first 2 times a pool guy told me it was done and needed to be replaced. $3500 to replace and install. Thank you but no thank you, I will try and fix it myself with my UA-cam pool friends and I did. First 2 times I replaced the thermal regulator costing me $20 each time. Next time I replaced the head unit/mother board costing me $400. It literally plugs in. And just recently I replaced the manifold bypass valve and the manifold o-ring kit at the same time, costing me $60 total. This one takes a little skill because there is a lot to take off but with the step by step instructions on UA-cam it was easy. I am very mechanical and enjoy taking things apart and putting them pack together. But a lot of this is very simple to fix. BUT, without guys like yourself it would have taken me much longer to figure out. If you’re not mechanical and you don’t know how or don’t want to fix things, get a home warranty and for $100 it can get fixed. Thanks again guy.
Have pool & spa combo but when I moved the valve to spa jet the bubbles dont starting how I can find out the air pipe location is not showing in the pool equiptment. I CAN'T FIND THE AIR PIPE FOR JACUZZI JETS..
This is the worst so-called instructional video on UA-cam. Where is the house? Although I did use my shop vac to boost the blower, thanks for the suggestion
