Hope this helps someone. Ours was having different codes like "Dr" or "FL". It was an air lock after filling from empty. What fixed it was unscrewing the filters with the spa on. I think the filters (although look clean) may need replacing as the water flow dramatically reduced when I refit them. As soon as I unscrewed the second filter some big bubbles came out. Before the pump was quite loud and sloshy sounding. Now it's whisper quiet. Also before I could only feel a very light stream of water coming from one small jet near the bottom. With the filters out there was noticable water coming from the two raised grates at the bottom of the spa and the small jet was now pumping water I'm going to run the spa with no filters for a day and see if the heater works properly now.
I had an airlock and removed the filter, placed my submersible pump in the tub and put the outlet hose into the hole where the filter screws in. Cleared it on about one second. 😊
@@indiefan23 1.remove filter 2.place submersible pump into the tib water. 3.hold the submersible pump discharge hose into the tubs intake hole where the filter connects. 4. the water coming out of the subpump will push the air out of the jets. Once the air is out the job is done. Effortlessly compared to other methods. I use the pump to drain the tub in 7 minutes when changing water. About $50 on Amazon for 1hp 750 watt pump. i set mine for fastest flow rate
Hi please help. HTR flow fail or HTR maybe dry errors. This unit runs and stops It is the Balboa BP601 G1 the pump is the pf-20-2n22x Executive Euro pump. One of the two capacitors is completely burnt out and I am not able to see what they are rated at any suggestions please?
I have a problem with a new balboa spa, the same panel as on the video, 3 jets, no circulating pump. I've been trying to purg water for 4 days now..... with some luck. I got the temp up to 87, but I'm constantly getting error messages: HTR FLOW LOSS HTR MAY BE DRY HTR DRY The heating element is located on the line after the filter and before the 2 speed heater pump. Any help would be appreciated.
Worked perfectly! Saved the day, and a lot of money calling for service! Thank you very much!

Worked like a charm! Thank you so much!!

Hi there! Mine says heater too hot but it's has even ran for 2 days. What would cause this?
Hi please help.
HTR flow fail or HTR maybe dry errors.

Life saver! Thanks alot. Helped perfectly for my error message!

What does it mean when a spanner appears on the control panel
What do you do with the eater that spills out? Shouldn't you dry it up with a towel?
Nah leave it to air dry
Thanks for the tip. Thats exactly what the problem was with mine. :)
Thanks for the advice, do you have to do this with all pumps or just the one closest to the control panel? Thanks
Hi
If you have a individual circulation pump (WTC50M or Ja50) then just this pump. If it is a 2 speed pump system then its just this pump.
Awesome video, thank you very much
mine hums only the motor won't turn on but says dy code
Sounds like a bad capacitor.
It's beyond me why hotubs aren't built with auto air vents i mean it's got to be the biggest issue 🙃
Great info mate
Thanks a lot, you resolve my trouble
no problem. Glad it helps
I gotta admit, it's a little scary doing that with the electricity on!
What causes the air lock as mine keeps doing this?? Thanks
Air lock can be triggered by dirty filters. Have you tried to remove your filters and then see if the problem occurs again?
