The Cybertruck has two huge aluminium castings (one front. one rear) and the battery bolted between them is structural. The stainless steel outer body is much thicker than normal and the skin is contributing to strength instead of just being carried around.
Well, I wasn't expecting a carwow drag race with the cyber truck this quick, but I'll take it. Thank you, Matt and team.
The fact that such vehicle exist is mind-bending..
@@poplaurentiu4148 try to buy one i bet you cant.....iys shit and if you research its been a dead horse for years
People like to bad mouth Tesla. But the fact is that they have this stuff down to a science. They have this EV stuff fine tuned.
Ah Matt, your touch of humor to all your videos is perfect! Never change 😅
I bet that could be interesting.
1000 hp just the right amount of power i want in my daily driver
Well the Hummer EV weights 9,600 pounds so it needs a lot of HP just to pull into a driveway.
Yeah think of those groceries those are heavy
its to smoke the tesla haters in a trapezoid fridge on a daily basis
Ah yes, having a drag race at a manufacturers factory.....not bias at all😂😂
I was hoping for the Stig as the other driver...
That hummer was insane. Over 9,000 lbs 😮
That Hummer is quite amazing considering its weight, I don’t like Hummers but that ev version is not bad
Better than the cyber thing
@@sylvainlaurence1554 I don’t know much about the Hummer or the Cyber truck for that matter but I’d be happy with either but I’ll take your word on the Hummer being the better of the two
This Cybertruck is growing on me more and more
You must be a communist.
Yeah I would get the f150 or hummer over the cyber truck looks wise, but I thought I would hate the cyber truck and surprised I don't. Tho I think the front of the cyber truck looks better than the back.
it looks like shit ngl
Imagine hitting a Toyota Aigo in the side at a crossroads with that speed 😂
Impressive, electric cars have found the right market. As soon as I get into 1/4 mile EV racing, I'm getting one.
That Tesla goes like a scalded dog. I watched Haggerty run it around a gocart track. It also has rear steering. Both of these trucks are very maneuverable for how big they are.
The CT has a lot less HP and torque. The difference is it’s a Tesla not a GM product. The Cybertruck is going to the moon
@@InformedKiwiCybertruck only had 576bhp realistically.
@@InformedKiwi how? Exterior wise it looks bland af no interesting cuts or lines. I could of designed it in 2nd grade. Interior wise it's a single iPad and steering wheel. It's as plan Jane as u can get. Elon was just able to make it work because tesla fans seems to think anything he makes is the future. Have u seen the audi actisphere? THAT IS THE FUTURE. Even the hummer ev is way better looking espicially in black or orange. Higher payload towing, more RANGE, better offroading with extract mode, and better interior. It does everything a truck is for better. While also weighing 9,600 lbs and going 0-60 in 3 Seconds. 😂 unless u get the beast mode cyber truck its not even close to as good.
The banter between Matt and Sam is so funny😂
I loved the conversation and the debate more than the race
Carwow has really leveled up the game ! I mean one day of launching , and he is already drag racing it ! ❤❤
This probably happened before the delivery like MKBHD and a few others.
@@robindehood207 did they also drag raced it against another ev suv?
@@ziarehman9904 Jason Camissa actually did race it against a Rivian, which was the reigning fastest pickup at the time.
Their friendship and the vibe makes this video so much fun to watch.
Yeah, especially when Matt wins. If it was the other way around you would see...
Those 20 points for Matt need to be reviewed
Good Race!
The Hummer EV has more power than the Cybertruck (1k vs 845), but it also weighs OVER a ton more and is less aerodynamic. Then you have the speed limiter...
What I really want to see is the off road tests in these!
My God, I didn't expect these two monsters on this channel, how incredible 😍
11.2s 1/4m is mind-blowing for a 3+ tons car.
Insane time from the hummer too, considering its even heavier weight
But who’s going to pay $100,000 for something that claims to be a truck and all it accomplishes is 11.2 et’s but can’t do anything a conventional truck can do??
@@MoParRus340 still need to see this. let mat to his job
@@MoParRus340 Cyber is not a car for blue collar workers who actually need a truck... is a car for cryptonerds with a micropenis.
@@MoParRus340 i would but if only i had the money
The weight in a drag race is not a really disadvantage. So you have endless traction.
"You got crabs"
"If I did you gave them to me"
Ummm...tmi
Boss please make a video on these two competing against off-road challenges 😢❤❤
We need an off-road comparison of these 2 cars.
Offroad? 😂 Why bother? The closest 99.5% of buyers of these ridiculous tanks will get to offroading is going over the speed bumps at the local supermarket.
They both look so cool!
the background wind noise difference between the two is night and day
The thing I love most about this video is the sound they make during acceleration… it’s extremely satisfying!!
Right? It hits good. So weird.😅
Love the sound in the Hummer!
Absolutely WOW carwow, now you need to do a rematch with your Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the Cybertruck towing a Porsche.
probably elon will not allows it
The reason the 911 lost to the CT in that video is because they used a base 911. If they used a turbo S LW that does the 0-60 faster than the plaid, it would get absolutely smoked. Even the GT3 RS would smoke the CT, and any other Tesla that’s not a plaid.
@@cody7068…how silly your comment is…😂😂😂
@@cody7068turbo S is not faster than the plaid mate :)
Damn they literally increased speed
10:40 for the actual race.
goated comment
I saw this coming a mile away, and I'm glad 😅🎉❤.
