Thanks for the video. I had a conundrum where I wanted to play Legion of the Damned marines, but I'm also interested in the chapter rules that will eventually be released. Then I realized that won't be a problem with Grey Knights, so next year's project is going to be a Grey Knights team modeled to be Legion of the Damned.
I finally got round to playing some kill team 21 last saturday, I wasn't a big fan of the old kill team but was pleasantly surprised at how much more enjoyable 21 is in comparison. I did compendium pathfinders vs my friend's tactical marines, it did feel a bit one sided with the tacs having the same amount as models but with better shooting, melee, saves, more actions, and more wounds, but also admittedly I didn't make the best decisions as it was my first game. Also it didn't help that compendium pathfinders don't have as much (or as good) tactical ploy support whilst the marine ones seemed very good with a lot of variety. Still, the recon drone was actually pretty cool and useful, and I wish I had managed to keep the rail rifle alive another turn as that could have helped a lot. I'm quite excited to try out sisters of battle and grey knights since I have all I need from them being my main two armies in 40k, I also 3D printed an ork boy kill team made from black crag miniatures' "space mutants" since they look really cool and I have a hankering to play orks since my 40k ork army is going to take a while before it's table ready.

The thousand sons have a new Warpcoven killteam option that I'm currently running. The rules for it are in a white dwarf mag. I run three sorcerers and two rubric marines.
Great video! Been trying to plan out how to maximise my kill team variety. One thing though, you can still dash and shoot a heavy weapon. So you've essentially got half movement rather than full.
Currently building an Alpha Legion KT. Using the Forgeworld upgrade kit on Mark III armor kit. I needed to order both as I’m still pretty new to Warhammer. Asked some friends if they knew where I could get a mission launcher as it didn’t come in the Mark III box, but they just responded with “Don’t play Kill team, just turn those little guys in to Chosen.” XD
Nice video, i'm also very invested into Killteam atm :D imo the only reason to play usual Guardsmen is Sions tho. If you don't pick artillery with the veteran guardsman, you are 14 bodies as well, with specializations giving you more skill flavor (most importantly the medic), while still having access to 4 gunners.
I'd say that if you are picking the veteran guardman you should always be prepared to play with the extra 4 gunners. Because I can imagine certain scenarios taking place in places where artillery wouldn't be possible (underground, enclosed structures, etc...).
I really like the Thousand Sons, Sisters of Battle, and I’m looking forward to your xenos video. Will you be including the Servants of the Abyss or the Rogue Trader kill teams?

At least I gave GW one last try to make things right for me. Was so hopping that kill team was it , but a disappointment for me at the end of it.

I have a 40k Army of Necrons and I honestly feel it's overwhelming to paint them up. Been thinking about trading them for bits to make kill teams with, just not sure if I should.
I think you made a mistake with Mechanicus, their kill team is 11 men because they need a leader, which is an additional unit, not a replacement. So really the best buy is 1 box rangers and 1 rust stalkers, because without rust stalkers, you need 2 boxes of 10 rangers to make the 11 man team. The rust stalker prince's is a replacement and u get 5 models in the box for a 4 man team.
If I buy the starter set, does that include everything to play games? What’s the purpose of the compendium book, just extra rules? (Typical GW selling everything separate for as much profit as possible!) What else would I need?
