The raid exotic can get other traits as getting all the red border for all 6 raid weapons grants a triumph which allows for the weapon to get other traits, will be interesting to see whatever it gets.

@@Kxizuo it's done in mobile games and other games, using machine learning to guess what you want based on behavioral patterns. They can then automatically adjust the odds however they want.
Would not be surprised if Destiny 2 did it.

Kinda seems like a weird choice for a raid exotic, this seems more like a Season Pass exotic than anything.
I mean, I’m sure it’s good. But I was kinda expecting something either Resonance-related or Prismatic-related.
Edit: I think people are confusing “unique” for “interesting” while discussing this weapon. It’s TECHNICALLY unique, but it’s definitely boring for a raid exotic. It’s just an aggressive-burst linear in the top slot that has better Hatchling and a damage bonus. For being the raid exotic for the 10-year Destiny anniversary, it’s pretty damn underwhelming and uninspired.

Something that spawned the darkness pyramid shards the witness throws in the final campaign fight would be so cool.

I can imagine strand hunter threadling spam, or verities brow warlock spam would make this quite the strong combo, even if they don’t share stacks. The sheer amount of damage you’d be outputting, for a special rotation, would be absolutely insane.
I kinda wish if it was a raid exotic handcannon.. never was one unfortunately.

I doubt we'll get one for a while considering the saturation of hand cannons we've got, even if most of them are kinetic. Unless a specific dev has an idea they really want to make a reality.

This looks like a raid weapon for RoN, considering Lightfall was a strand focused expansion and Final shape is has prismatic which goes well with something like Conditional Finality

Root of Nightmares was focused on wielding light and dark harmoniously to survive Nezarec's own control over light and dark, so you got a gun that does dark and light damage
Salvation's Edge is about stopping the final shape, and it's my understanding that the gun is supposed to be a new interpretation of the final shape

Well i agree it doesn't shine anywhere near as bright its good for strand builds which im not complaining threadling builds now have some sort of weapon that synergies with them and its a special so it has that going for it

Honestly this thing might be a dps meta if it gets its buff from other threadling sources run pris pop the strand super that would give a 18 percent buff from start throw down freezing turret with the command fragment so u don't have to reload and this thing would be a absolute monster

Well they need to start pumping out exotics to bring the darkness subclasses up to par with the exotic support light subclasss have so it makes sense in that regard.

It’s a special ammo 3 burst linear. With extra damage for staying on target and cc for when the enemy dies and more threadlings spawn. Does that not SOUND really good?

It should've been a triple burst linear that cycled element on every beam. alternating light and dark elements every beam, includuing kinetic damage.
That would've been the true prism weapon.
Better yet it cycles through every debuff weaken then sever then jolt then freeze then ignition. This way you can run surge mods without them being weirdly inconsistent and it would feed into prismatic.

Idk i was expecting like a weapon that cuts thru things like we see the witness do to the ghost. I dont think of strand when i think of the witness either. Couldve been a weapon that utilizes its luster and stuff, but we get this weird threadling weapon thats frankly gonna be used by just warlocks which im not complaining. I havent taken off swarmers since i got prismatic
Man, it sounded like everything i wanted. A threadling build that feels good, makes a whole horde of lil guys. Nope, just a dps weapon. Not even a fun weapon type.
It's a ok exotic definitely not meta by any means. Besides the raid it self the raid loot is pretty ass compared to other raid weapons.

Use it on warlock with the exotic legs that make you radiant with fusion rifle kills 🔥
DO NOT SLEEP ON WEAVEWALK WHEN USING THIS. The amount of Threadlings you can pump out is insane with Weavewalk and Weaver’s call.
Max out that strength and use Thread of Fury. Use any regen exotic like Nezarec’s Sin or Eye of Another World cause the Arcane Needle melee has innate regen bonus that WILL stack with an exotic regen (15% at 1 charge and 30% at 2).
You can go into Weavewalk for like 2 secs to get 3-4 Threadlings without fully draining your 3rd melee and it will come back very quickly, allowing you to either max out threadlings or build them back up if you used the 3-4 threadlings already.
This thing will be absolutely broken in pretty much every threadling build you could use. They are already the best add clear method, the only thing lacking in them is DPS. Now this will provide that DPS while still being the best add clear.
I basically never have weavewalk off when I run strandlock. It's my icarus dash for strand
Weavewalk, wanderer, swarmers. All we need is for weavewalk to be made a 2 fragment slot aspect and we’re golden.

Only difference there is Hunters at least specialize into damage. Titans are just “super better” “punch damage” and “shoulder charge champion”. Imagine if Dunemarchers had subclass verbs attached to it…

I didn't really care about this exotic originally, but that is because I thought it was in the heavy slot. Since it is a special I have to have it. 1
I think the real question is how the DPS compares to Still Hunt rather than legendary special snipers, because that will be the most common comparison I feel.
Still Hunt with Celestial Nighthawk, based off of just mental estimates, will likely be 1.5-1.8m damage while being able to DPS dump a lot faster.

I like raid exotics which are related to their final raid boss, one thousand voices and touch of malice for example. Lately raid exotics have been so damn random thematically, that it almost doesn’t feel good getting it and playing it regardless if it’s meta or not.

This gun is literally made out of calcified pieces of the witness
I was hoping for a kinetic glaive that absorbs and creates a damage type based on what damage type hits its shield. Then it could have it's projectile apply the matching debuff and it's melee could do something i dunno.
Makes sense thematically cause Rhulk tradition: makes sense he would give one to his witness.
This weapon feels a bit of a stretch, but I don't mind: good weapon.

It might be really good, but its only that good while on strand warlock. Everything else seems not worth it. i guess titans get the next exotic? hunters got Still Hunt sniper and warlocks got this

Ok so i have it and did some dps phases with friends on the witness and i can say on strand warlock with apotheosis veil, only the hunter nighthawk build can beat it. Every dmg phase i was hitting 3.3mil+. And sleeper hit 2.3mil and rocket izzi was doing 2.5mil (these are rough numbers because skill is always at play, but there is no chance that anything beats it out unless its hunter gg build) Celestial was doing around 3.7mil consistently
Absolutely wild on warlock strand considering it will also maybe get another perk (if its not a bug) and also ITS A SPECIAL so u can use a MG for ads and stuff
Also keep in mind we had no debuff or well(buff). Just surges and the weapons
Linears in general have been hit so hard on repeat, it's rather telling that a *50% buff* + threadling spawns has the numbers just barely climb higher than you're standard supremacy can dish out through the entirety of the DPS phase (thank you Rewind Rounds). This won't work against any floating boss either (like cough the witness cough) unless you're lucky enough for the spawned threadlings to fall and instantly detonate on them.
Still neat to have as an option though, in like 5-6 years when one can finally get enough clears in of this mechanic slurry of a raid to have it drop. Glad it's no Conditional Finality though. No hard meta defining champion busting DPS rocking gun here, just a very solid special (that eat's you're exotic slot btw, hence me calling it solid verses 'omg so good' like Ehroar here XD) that basically nobody will feel the absence of besides Swarmers Strand Warlocks specifically.
I mean... this sounds amazing for warlocks but since I use hunter I dunno how much value I'm gonna get out of Euphony if I get it at some point. Don't exactly have threadling grenades on prismatic and I'd rather use that subclass then go back to strand just to make full use out of Euphony. I'm sure it's possible if I look into it more but warlocks have the most natural synergy. This weapon does look sick and a strand 3 burst linear that's special is very unique.
What about compared to fully kitted out Supremacy?

Personally think this should’ve been a precision frame (single shot like Arbalest) and just adjust the numbers to compensate. I hate how 3 burst linears feel especially cuz I’m on controller
While the weapon is solid because its a lfr on special i feel that its one of those exotics thats only good with like 2 builds both being on warlock... Apotheosis veil: super, nades and melee damage rotation and once your nades are done you will probably almost be at max stacks. Second is swarmers but swarmers is much better for add clear than boss dps...
Might be able to make an argument for hunter with the new exotic but thats a stretch 😅

So we have euphony and still hunt. Special ammo weapons are getting crazy af. Also ergo sum. A Solar ergo sum with Wolfpack and a heart of the flame super cooks. All I need to know now is if the legendary weapons in the raid are also good. The armor looks very interesting I want to get the full set.

Man after conditional finality It’s definitely going to be hard for bungie to one up the utility and versatility of that gun both good in PVE and PVP seriously it’s going to be a long while till we get another anarchy conditional finality or divinity level exotic in D2

I gotta say this is a pretty sad raid exotic compared to conditional it’s just so uncreative we should’ve gotten a gun that dealt strand and stasis damage since we killed the witness or if they’d made the final darkness subclass it could’ve been that. This was supposed to be the last big raid and the exotic is just meh
Seems a bit underwhelming imo, if they increased the damage multiplier it would be good. Also the RoN and SE armor are trash. We need someone else in charge of raid armor design

can you test bastion changes because it grants a similar buff to one two punch as well as trench barrel. the one two punch buff is granted for 6 seconds which is enough time to use peregrines
Based on the appearance of this, and the appearance/theme of Conditional Finality, I'm like 99% sure that Euphony was supposed to be the Nezarec drop, and they just wanted to boost Lightfall as much as they could with an actually good raid exotic LMAO

They will end up buffing it or we will have a really good LFR season soon and everyone will want it
