Nice and easy. I like to learn the complicated stuff (Trapcode etc.) but good to know that this kind of effect can be done so quickly.
I like to cover simple things as fast as possible, i'm not saying my two minute tuts will make anyone an amazing animator but I want them to quickly answer a question. There's been so many times where I had to sit through a 15 minute tut to find one little thing! lol! Thanks fore watching!!
I really enjoy this video, no uncessary bullshit, simple quick. In other videos you have to wait 20 sec until the guy has chosen a project name -_-, and me always: "wtf dude, I DONT CARE, start the tutorial!"
I'll keep my two-minute tut series going for sure, and it's a strict two minutes. I do have other tuts that are longer and I talk a bit more, and some things just take longer than two! 3 minute tuts, lol!

That effect wasn't like the thumbnail you used which is what I wanted to learn
just use a mask and feather it so the effect is only in one place, have a duplicate layer underneath without the mask - should work
