Mine snapped off about an inch from the base by an automatic car wash with those spinning sponges. (The touch-free side was under repair, and I'd already paid for it in advance at the pump.) I got the nut off with a box-end wrench, but now I need to remove the remaining stub of the arm. Been spraying it with DW40 all week. I can't get it to budge. Is it a twisting motion that springs it free or a prying motion by pushing up with a lever? Thanks. ~Steve
Never mind figured it out, it’s like the copper insert but it’s aluminum I think. Vice grips and hit it with a hammer it came loose 20 seconds after typing my last comment lol.
thank you for the comment. don't know the size, but I think on FCP I seen one for same. you can also check the diagram, just go on (realoem , com), you'll figure out the rest, it's easy. good luck!
It fixed. Now It's "Rear Wiper Arm & Blade". If you watch the video without scrolling and skipping, you would see how to install the blade and the structure, and the way it looks. Thank you for the comment!
Those amazon wiper blades are absolute garbage. bought that same brand used in the video, lasted a year and a half before starting to disintegrate. Use OEM or OE parts for this job, as silly as it may seem, there is a difference in plastic quality and its big.
I just bought mine and didn’t notice this was missing till a week later. Thanks for the video
Lol. I think i heard that story before))
Thanks for the comment!
So how do you get the wiper arm assembly off the bolt? Mine is stuck
Soak it in wd40 make it couple rounds, couple days straight! that what i did, and be carful!

I removed our wiper because all if did was hold dirt and dust. Put a little rubber cap on the mounting screw and it looks much better. Wiper delete.
hahah) Interesting approach!
To be exact, u are changing the rear wiper arm. Most people are looking for info on how to change the blade.
