Bon Scott was once asked jokingly whether he was the AC or DC in the band. His reply was telling in its symbolism of his role: "Naw, I'm the lightning flash in the middle." ⚡
Lol..Bon Scott (and AC-DC lol) were the biggest working class Scottish chavs in rock and roll lol...but they embodied the spirit of black blues based rock and roll...😍
Best quote from him, one of the greatest of all time :D He showed the real rock ´n´roll... no prisoners asked for. Full speed up to his death. But what a life as the greatest rock star.
The secret of AC/DC is, they are so tight any virgin would be very unhappy about :D Also the brutal energy the emit. Someone found the real Rosie when researching for a book about the lads. From memory there was also a photo of her in the book, and by today's standards, she wasn't all that big. I was so fortunate to see the Bon Scott version of AC/DC live on October 16 1979 at Towson State in Baltimore. This was about 5 months before his death. I saw them a couple times after but it was never the same. This song is from Let There Be Rock. My favorite album of theirs. Just balls to the walls start to finish....
Well that's just taken me back what? 35+ years? There was a club in Manchester called Jilly's, played rock, metal a bit of punk. Girlfriend at the time was a well built lass. When this came on we were both up and head banging, sweat pouring off the both of us when it finished. Damn but they were good times :-)
I dont know where to start. First as always u do awesome reactions, i love them. Second i started to listen to ACDC when i was 15 and just started playing the drums. So to look more Rock n roll i had an old jeans jacket i cut the arms off, just like Bon has in this video. Thing is walking around looking like this in those days would put u in danger coz of those people who didnt like metal and looking like it. I had just realized at age 15 that i was getting old enough and had enough muscles so i didnt get beaten by my mum any more. Problem was i eneded up getting attacked by men who didnt like this new metal crap. Anyway, i love watching these old ACDC shows, or any shows for that matters. What amaze me is that Bon Scott freely steps back so Angus can more or less be the Front figure of the band. Ty for the awesome reaction and watching those nice curls again.
When you talk about the energy they all had and how it all meshes together for the performance. Having personal experience on this, this is the party energy we all had the in 70's and 80's. That time had an emotional quality for many of us kids growing up then that was almost nihilistic. I remember a friend of mine once said "we live under a nuclear threat we ain't in control of so might as well go out with sex, drugs, and rock'n roll. Then he would quote the song line "here for a good time not a long time". Kind of an unofficial motto of a lot of people back then was "live fast, die young, and leave a good looking corpse cause no one expected to live to get old honestly. So when you partied there was no point in holding back as it was possible you wouldn't have a tomorrow.
1 second ago They’re one of the most entertaining bands sonically and visually of all time, but just watching your beautiful face enjoying this is equally entertaining and mesmerizing! Keep up the great work!
I enjoy your reaction to good Aussie rock or in AC/DC's case GREAT Aussie rock. By the time they reached England when this song was televised, they'd been playing in the pubs and clubs of Australia for years and, as you can hear, they were tight as a fishes proverbial. I was lucky enough to see AC/DC with Bon Scott twice. I'd be interested in your reaction to some other Aussie rockers like Rose Tattoo and Midnight Oil. Cheers from Bruce down under.
I've listened to AC/DC for over 40 years, Bon was unique and so much fun to listen to. If you get a chance, listen to Ride On, love this song, it's in his lower register and you can feel the sarcasm dripping from his delivery. A great rock and roll blues song.
First saw them in septb1980....missed Bon due to his untimely death! The lowdest rock band! Bon was unique screamer...He will always be loved! Just another reminder....check out the band "Sparks" "This town ain't big enough for the both of us" ! Thanks again!!!
angus in his prime, not even looking and he's just banging his head, running all over, how did he keep on note and know where his finger placement was?......really amazing
Love it how u start to sway back and forth and get a look like ur ready to be a bad girl when a great song comes on lmao!! Like dancing on top of a whiskey bar
Haven't watched the full video yet but Bon was brilliant, he had the voice, he had the walk, he had the strut and he captivated the audience along with Angus of course a fan since 1983...

Bon Scott was AC - DC when he died, they did not make me lose myself in the music. I still love them, but that time was special.
Saw these guys twice one with Bon and the other with Brian...both shows were stellar!
Was lucky to see AC/DC with Bon… the show just kicked so much @$$… from start to finish.
They were fun and that's why you're smiling😂. Bon was great.

They’re one of the most entertaining bands sonically and visually of all time, but just watching your beautiful face enjoying this is equally entertaining and mesmerizing! Keep up the great work!
We love AC/DC because of the songs he wrote and sang. The man was a genius. His death was and always will be depressing
Wie ein Kriminalfilm.
Ich bin immerwieder aufgeregt. Mein Herz ist berührt 🎵🎶♥️✨️
If you like this, try Bon’s “Touch Too Much”. Bon rocks!
Need to check out, "AC/DC - Ride On" it's a slowed AC/DC song, shows his vocals in a different way.
I've listened to AC/DC for over 40 years, Bon was unique and so much fun to listen to. If you get a chance, listen to Ride On, love this song, it's in his lower register and you can feel the sarcasm dripping from his delivery. A great rock and roll blues song.
AC/DC. THE quintessential Rock and Roll band.
First saw them in septb1980....missed Bon due to his untimely death! The lowdest rock band! Bon was unique screamer...He will always be loved! Just another reminder....check out the band "Sparks" "This town ain't big enough for the both of us" ! Thanks again!!!
Solid engine room in AC/DC then you have 2 of the greatest showmen in Rock and Roll out the front ! Killer combination !
Great video and i think the stillness in bon scot mouth is becourse i he has had his teeth fixed the man is a legend 🙂🎸
10:13 AC/DC is one of the few bands where the singer ISN'T the frontman
angus in his prime, not even looking and he's just banging his head, running all over, how did he keep on note and know where his finger placement was?......really amazing
Check out another version of this song live, where he switches guitars during the solo. insanity
Love it how u start to sway back and forth and get a look like ur ready to be a bad girl when a great song comes on lmao!! Like dancing on top of a whiskey bar
Haven't watched the full video yet but Bon was brilliant, he had the voice, he had the walk, he had the strut and he captivated the audience along with Angus of course
a fan since 1983...
This is So Fun had anyone told me that my most favorite AC/DC Song Whole Lotta Rosie in the the 9th grade in HS in 1978 and now 2024 I would be getting to see a Professional Vocal Coach doing a reaction video to this Song 46 years later I would not believe but then also You have done several reaction videos to my Most Favorite Bands like Triumph and Journey it makes me think I kinda knew what I really liked was Really Good! I Love Music Especially and going and continuing to go see theses Bands Live Journey next followed by Sammy Hagar Keep Rock’n!
Angus walks right up to the camera, and proceeds to rip your face off! Legends.
Oh gosh young lady we have to get you into the 21st century, post haste. This 73 yr old dude rocker loves your reactions especially this one love Bon RIP.
However, their is incredible new rock popping up in new places, here is my fav band that I truly believe you will absolutely love, lady power to the nth degree.
Band Maid out of Japan, a 5 piece all ladies rock band, is composing and performing live the best rock I have ever heard and I have heard them all- AC/DC, Zep, D Purp, Allmans, Petty, Metallica, etc etc.
None of them can touch these ladies- 10 years, 130+ songs, best live band EVER.
Heres a few to sample if you are interested:
- Daydreaming MV
- Hate live Yokahama
- Blooming MV
You need to remember that just because that is your opinion, it doesn’t make it fact! I’ve watched them and they don’t do it for me but that’s ok, we’re all different. I grew up in Melbourne Australia and got to see them live with Bon in the mid 70’s so many times as a teenager and we knew then that they were something special!! Live they have been on a par for me with Queen for the best concerts I’ve seen. And I’m talking about the Bon years, he will always be their frontman to me ♥️
This F%ckin song always lifts my spirits. I love being an Aussie.
they were a storm in these days. and for their age they still have an impressive stage presence nowadays...
