he also was in 3 single track and field events in the same olympics on top of the 2 multi sport ones and finished 4th, 7th and 11th in those. he also played a little pro golf, won a national ball room competition and even a yacht race

Thanks for your comment. I didn't find any good sources on the fact he played professional golf but the man is an absolute legend.

btw. the person i would put 2nd gratest athlete of all time is Wilt chamberlain and for best overall female athlete, Babe Didrickson (not sure if spelled her name right) but she was almost the female version of jim

I read it too but couldn't find any evidence, so I didn't put it in my video. As for Didrickson and Chamberlain, they are definitely on the list.
Out of curiosity, which moment from Chamberlain's career would you have me highlighted? His 100 points game?

@@Ad-excelsum hard to say or pick just one. 100 points is incredible. i don't care if you do it against a high school team. still impressive. of course there is the 55 rebounds (against bill russell). or the clip where he blocks kareem's skyhook three times in one posession is kind of intriquing , or a clip of him blocking a shot where his hand is almost even with the top of the backboard. or just simply the 70 recoreds 50 years after retiring. really hard to pick a single thing

The fact that the majority of people don’t know Jim Thorpe, is a travesty.
