Perfect POV camera | Insta360 Go 3 or Go 3S

- We just got back from our vacation Cruise and took along with Insta360 Go3 and it made a perfect POV camera and if I had the Go 3S it would have been even better with 4K, but 2.7K on the Go 3 is still very nice.

I always laugh when in present 2.7K is meh. We used to drool over 2K and above. 10 years from now it will be, 16K? Meh. LOL!
Ain't that the truth ! I remember when we jumped from 720 to 1080 and everyone was like "oooohh, awwwww" now if it's not 8K, people complain lol 😆
I agree, I love this camera because it's so discreet and unobtrusive. Most people don't think much of it, that is, if they even notice it. If you bring a full size camera, it can often draw a lot of un-wanted attention. I've pretty much moved to shooting about 90% of my videos on action cameras just because of the convenience factor.
Yes this is definitely a nice easy way to gather some footage without anyone being the wiser and giving you dirty looks.

Haha, yes she did, "washy washy to get yummy yummy" Royal Caribbean wants everyone to wash their hands before entering the Windjammer for food. I've never been on Carnival, but heard it's more of a "youth" Cruise of people in their 20's that like to Party. Royal was our 1st Cruise and we loved it so much, this is our 3rd in 1.5 years.

2.7k is very good resolution but will see about 3S soon
Yes 2.7K is still a great resolution even in 2024 standards and in bright sunlight, the video looks really good. Did you get the 3S?

The Go 3 S shooting in 4k, the battery is lucky to last 20 minutes out of its pod, i'll stay with the Go 3. Also you can buy a black silicone sleeve that wraps the camera, making it more discreet when worn with a black shirt
I get over 30 minutes with just the camera in 4K@30 and over 2 hours when it's in the action pod at 4K@30, which is plenty IMO, but you should get what YOU want.
I will say that the ending shot of the ocean looked nice and the indoor shots had a lot of noise in it, but given how small it is, that's expected. Did they increase the sensor size in the 3S?
I agree, I don't see anything about a larger sensor, maybe they used a more modern sensor, I do know they changed out the lens on the 3S.
1080, 2+k, 4k... It doesn't have to be a great picture, it just has to tell a good story I reckon. I'll stick to my crappy 1080 vids. THERE, I SAID IT! 1080 FOR LIFE!!!!!
