Thank You! I made a point not to review it yet, but for it to be more of a showcase of what I captured over the last two weeks. I used it every single day, I let my kids use it, and they threw it around a lot in the hotel, beach and basically treated it like a toy, it withheld anything they did. I don't jump out of planes either, this is what I do, family stuff. The camera is great and I can say that with 110% confidence after putting it through a lot in the past two weeks.

Quick question, do you use manual mode and have post production for color grading/stabilization/or enhance the quality?
Or do you use auto mode, and post production for splitting and add some caption only?

Man! That footage looks superb! The colors! Did you do any color correction or is this straight out of camera. Wow! Also the low light footage looks solid for a small camera! A lot better than my GoPro which is GREAT in good sunny light, otherwise it falls apart. This looks fine.
Thank You! No colour correction at all. Every single shot is straight from camera. The low light is okay, but as you can see this camera is made for wet lit conditions where it really works very, very well.
How long does the battery last with 4K 30?
I had an average of about 45 minutes, depending on the weather, when it started dying I’d just pop it into the pod and carry on filming/charging.

Woof. Not a fan of a camera that is just now matching the several year old DJI action 2. Definitely not a fan of this company either
The Action 2 is a superb camera, one of the best tiny action cameras in its size. The GO 3S, whilst maybe similar in size format, works great with the pod, has freeframe, 360 horizon level, crazy stabe and I love the “find my” option. The Insta360 app is also years ahead of the competition as are the accessories. It also has a removable lens guard, wink wink.
I personally am a huge fan of Insta360 as a company, the people who work there and have always been treated by them with utter respect.
As a long time fan of DJI and DJI camera/drone user since the original DJI Osmo Action which I still love with my Action 4, the Action 2 is utterly garbage. If you're a true action user you would realize that the A2 is NOT an action camera. I wanted to love that camera so much as I bought it to finally replace my GoPro session 5 which I still think was one of the best cameras made. The A2 had all the specs I wanted, 4K with higher fps, built in beautiful screen, a beautifully designed camera... unfortunately that's where it stops. The A2 has serious temperature issues and limitation, look at their operating temp conditions, it's bad for an 'action' camera. I use this to mount on my bow during bow season here in Canada which goes from warm to cold weather in a single season. The A2 heats up after 15 minutes of filming and won't even turn on when it's cold, and I don't mean below zero cold, anything below 5C, the A2 won't turn on. That said, DJI has seem to abandoned this camera, the last firmware update was 2 years ago and you might say well it's an older camera so they don't have to support it, which is BS as I was in camera sales for 20 years. The A2 might be a couple of years old but it's still an active sku in stores, ie. BestBuy, Amazon therefor support should still continue, no? A free plastic cover and jacking up temp shut off tolerance in the camera setting is NOT a solution to the heat problem and now, DJI has simply just given up, it's too bad, all it is now is a cute expensive vlogging camera and/or paper weight, I can't even sell it.
@@MiyagisRant I still really love my Action 2 and think it's a great camera, I've had 2 replacements so far due to scratching the lens which is a pain, luckily the GO 3S has a replaceable lens guard as I've already broken mine up after pulling it through underwater rocks. I've never had overheating problems with the Action 2, even though I have the EU version, but I have mainly used it in cold conditions where it gets naturally cooled. Overall it's a great camera and I'd love to see a V2. The GO series though has always been my #1 in the tiny action cam world and this one really has proved a ton of fun to use.

Rybka na początku robi robotę 😁 Bardzo fajny wakacyjny vibe. Używam dokładnie do tego samego od paru lat moje GPH7B. Właśnie wróciłem z Grecji i nagrałem masę materiału w 4K60 i czeka mnie krucjata edytorska. Wracając jednak do tej kamery bardzo mi się podoba jak mało czasu potrzebuje ona na "pokazanie" nieba po wyjściu z cienia gdzie kamera skupia się na dolnej cześci ekrany do właściwej ekspozycji. W GPH7B zanim "złapie" mija trochę czasu a tu w mgnieniu oka 04:50. To jest dokładnie ten moment kiedy na którymś z filmików szedłeś za Hiltonem przez bramę i widać było taki efekt i jak długo to zajmuje nowszym kamerą akcji. Dlatego warto było by zrobić pewnie upgrade choćby dla tego. Nie mniej jednak wciąż walczę z myślami czy filmować GoPro, Lumixem czy komórką i im starszy jestem tym bardziej nachodzi mnie amatorska myśl co by zamienić to wszystko na jedno co robi przyzwoicie zdjęcia i filmy niż tarabanić się z całym tym sprzętem :) Po głowie chodzi mi jabłko 15 pro ale walczę z tą pokusą ;)
Apple 15 Pro Max to super kamerka, ale to co mi sie podobalo z Insta360 GO 3S bylo to ze on jest tak malutki, ze jest cholernie wytrzymaly, szczegolnie to widzialem jak moje dzieci nim rzucali, i do tego jest tak maly ze jak mam na siebie czy zalozony na czapce to w ogole go nie czuje i malo kto go zauwaza. To sa ogromne plusy dla tej malutkie kamerki. Ryka spoko haha!
Great video however you failed to show the one thing we need to know. How did you carry and mount the camera on your body to get these pov shots. You obviously used it every day. What is best way to carry and mount the camera and action pod to get 800 clips like this
Thanks! So I either use the cap mount, which I absolutely love, or I use the magnetic neckless mount, but the only problem is my beer belly aims it upwards, even with the extra angle mount attached, so I prefer the cap mount in my situation. A lot of the time I also just held it in my hand and walked with it, which allows for a lot more control.
