I have intrinsic happiness. I stand up when I please, don't worry about stuff too much and have a home. I used to drive a Jaguar and now I'm driving a Peugeot 309 on lpg. It brings me to the same places, through the same traffic jams in the same amount of time. I used to have a well paid job with quite some responsibilities, now I'm self employed, work from home and have half of the money. Every day I wake up and I am grateful for what I have, rather than complaining about what I don't have. There are people around me who have a lot more stuff than I do, but they are not half as happy as I am. I'm one of the richest guys around.

I make very little money per year and I’m happy. My basic needs are covered. Anything above that is luxury in my mind. May have to do with all my years of hiking and living in the wild with very little. 1 year I lived 6 months in the wilderness. It made me realize how little money I really needed to be happy. lmao. it all depends on the person. money is an object, you have the choice to be happy or not. just cuz you got more money doesn't mean you won't be happy
Everyone should try and make more money. Instead of focusing on Impressing everyone around you with materialistic possessions to boost your ego, spend that money on trips and experience. Life was meant to be lived, not slaving away to buy more and more things that give you a short dopamine spike only leaving you wanting more and more. Focus on Intrinsic happiness, you will be much happier. The people in this world who try and brag about their new flashy vehicle, or their house, or their shiny objects don’t impress me. To me they are ignorant and don’t know the true meaning of life. If you must, shy away from these types of people so you can maximize your intrinsic values while they slave away to keep their worldly possessions!
Psychologists found this out just recently? LOL. Knew this already as a kiddy since it was a common meme. Essentially, both internal and external factors coincide and complement, triggering and balancing hormones and neural processes depening on the dynamics of situations and environment, both short-term and long-term. Money is not a factor. The factor is the trigger. Money in that regard is just a mean, as there are many others. Let's say you're very ill living a frugal life and suddenly you're given heaps of wealth in any form, but nothing in the world can cure you... Or, you're super rich but feel utterly alone whilst being in social needs... Etc.
Money brings out more problems. I think if you're superficial, money is happiness because you don't enjoy the real moments of life. It's like... everyone is a book. Money can change your cover. But you write your story. People are so lame to only focus so hard on the surface. With first impressions or not understanding a person. Who wants to be a person against this imaginary grain. You doesn't want friends and life to have meaning and purpose. So many people in the world but we refuse to see each other as a version of ourselves. Words are such jargon. Just flavor text, the way we use them most the time. Is there no bridge to life where one can do what is needed in life for all and yet not need currency? Do you charge your family for the love you have for them. Expecting a payment for your devotion for them. What stops the world from turning? We have all this technology to make life easier but has only made it more demanding. Why can't it be used to bridge the work that we do to benefit all without this conception of material belonging. Mine. I need to have enough or more than enough. I need to keep up with that guy. Why. You can see the waste we everyday of food thrown away. Why can't we all eat? Really. Why. Why can't we all have a home? So much land and we need manision and so much that we don't need. But to show off to show this fake idea of status. The Jordans, the Playstations, the Corvettes. Porn convinces us of this false concept of our sexuality of big dicks, titties and asses. Can you not stepcback from the theater. And see the theatrics of distractions. Do you not feel a sense of how pathetic it all is. What you chase after as men and women. In attraction. How do we base so much on a cover. Why do we fake who we are and allow burden and strife to overcome us? We have started from so much less. And now we stop thr higher ideal. For alcohol, weed and promiscuity? What the fuck. Why stick with the abusive relationship we know we are in. Oh, because we fear the unknown. You fear never being able to love again. The time spent. When half of it is being slapped in the face. Hiding our bruises. And it's pathetic thst we all as a people can't just say: Fuck. You. And get off the money grubbing asses and change the world. You hear people say they'd die for their kids. But yet won't change the system That fucks them. People will commit physical suicide, then give up and serve to make things better. Everything is in front of us. But who among us have the fortitude to throw their bodies over the fire, so the children of tomorrow can be the saving grace that we so desperately need. That's the End of my TEDxTALK. Thank you
No it isn’t,money gave you materialism happiness but not mental, People that was rich might not be happiness But people with no money is completely unhappy
I feel like billionaires that say it's all the same etc are not factoring in the relief they have, but don't even notice because they are used to it. For me I want money because I am in a crippling position in society where I absolutely NEED my job to live. If I had a few Million tucked away at least I know that come what may, if I fail, at worst I can just relax in my large mansion, eat well, have fun still. All while not feeling any pressure at all to have to work for someone else, kissing up to superiors who usually make poor judgements. Maybe after a nice 6 month to a 2 year break of just absolute chilling I'll jump back in the game and throw some money at a nother business idea if I am feeling it, perhaps not, who cares really... That is what I want from money.
No, not really, lets say you are buying a mercedes, you are going to be happy for like 4 days, but than its normal, its usual to you.. I got clinically depression but 300k net worth, and i got 1 suicide attempt, Money does not make you happy.

For example if I won the lottery, I would help others in need, but first focus on my family first, buy my dad a new house and car, then move onto family, help pay they’re house/car all payed off completely. Then help my friends pay for they’re college, all payed off to, then just live life by traveling and doing what I love, and that is workout. 😃
Money = happiness
short answer, money can fix some things, but your friends and family are more important
Money can equal to happiness depends on how you spend it
Free time has become a luxury.
Freedom has become a luxury.
Privileges and privacy has become a luxury...
Do I have to say more?
Wow truly inspiring message. Great work!
why would one seek money without that being a direct mode of them experiencing happiness?
Our entire system is based on making money and buying stuff.

Music is too loud. But, great content.
1:28 this guy spitting facts
It's amazing how nobody has mentioned *AsapSCIENCE*
Money can make you happy, it migth be diferent for other people
Idc what anyone says, if I got 50M per year I’d be VERY happy. I’d get to go places I’d never gone before, but a mansion, get a huge pool, buy things I’ve always wanted and more!
I want just the Melody of the video? ?
I live in a well off community houses around 300,000 to 500,000 or more. People are not happy straight up. Not all the time we have down time. But I feel they are not happy. Old seniors majority but even young couples and families are consumed, you walk by a simple hello nothing more really. Your health is your greatest wealth. Workers are being destroyed by workplaces. I live in Lebanon TN, middle TN is growing so much, I really dont like living here anymore, The pollution is high. I feel a rural area is best. My Dad has been all over the US and says the grass is not greener on the otherside.
Ta Ha 20:124
And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind."
Ta Ha 20:125
قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِىٓ أَعْمَىٰ وَقَدْ كُنتُ بَصِيرًا
He will say, "My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing?"
Ta Ha 20:126
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ أَتَتْكَ ءَايَٰتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَاۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُنسَىٰ
[ Allah ] will say, "Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten."
Ta Ha 20:126
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ أَتَتْكَ ءَايَٰتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَاۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُنسَىٰ

Whoever said money can’t solve your problems, must not have had enough money to solve em
Not a big ari fan but like facts baby
Note that in the last 50 years, the median income has only increased by 30% which isn't mentioned at 1:03. The average income has increased more since the rich are getting richer, but everyone's income has actually stagnated or declined since 2000. Anyone have stats for the median income in the first half of the century?

Well done
Awesome!
Money can only make you happy to a certain extent. But it can also fuck your life up
Love it :)
MONEY IS THE SOLUTION TO ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YOUR PROBLEMS
A RICH MAN IS A RULER; AND A RULER CANT BE SAD
MONEY RULES THE WORLD
but money cant buy you a faithful wife/husband
money itself
1:28 really REALLY
Money is more than that...
Tolle said “ If you are miserable and win a million dollars, soon you will be miserable just in a nicer house”
Shelter prices have skyrocketed adjusted for inflation and median take-home pay adjusted for inflation have not.
Bro if i made 50 mil a year😂 im the happiest person on earth.
*Yes.*
absolutely true
want to be happy then get rid of what you don't really want eg: job-wife girlfriend -and change your life completely even if terrified to do so you wont regret it.
lmao. it all depends on the person. money is an object, you have the choice to be happy or not. just cuz you got more money doesn't mean you won't be happy
YES IT DOES.
Etc.
2:44 not necessarily true because relationships also come at a cost
Thank you
Hey I have a question! What if your happiness is to find earn money
Happiness can't be bought
But Chocolate Can
😂😂😂😂😏 omg
I would rather live as a rich DEPRESSED person then a poor depressed person✌
Same here
Money is happens and can buy anything
"Money spent make happiness"
Mr. Beast:bet
Some people are so poor that all they have is money.
-Bob Marley
Yah I agree that money can't buy everything but you still might enjoy having luxury which I don't but I want to prove a point
Yes. Only money. Money is the key to salvation and happiness
No it isn’t,money gave you materialism happiness but not mental,
People that was rich might not be happiness
But people with no money is completely unhappy
Our income is 3Xs higher adjusted for inflation, but a previous video said "the American dream is dead"? Can't have it both ways.
Yes it does
I think no one is happier than Hugh heghner.
To answer the question to the thumb nail yes it does
Money is the real happiness.
True
yes yes yes I dont care yes its important and it makes you happy
I would sooner be rich on happiness than money every time.
I think money gives you more freedom, but happiness??? That's questionable!
Yes it gives you extrinsic happiness.
No, not really, lets say you are buying a mercedes, you are going to be happy for like 4 days, but than its normal, its usual to you..
I got clinically depression but 300k net worth, and i got 1 suicide attempt, Money does not make you happy.
