The coolant that came out from the radiator, where did you put it? I’m assuming I don’t let it just drip on the floor. In the middle of doing this right now

In my 06 Accord the fans aren’t working now.. and my car shows it overheating but it’s not, sounds weird 😂 but i’ve been around cars that overheat and you can smell it, see smoke, etc.. i know mines not overheating as bad as it shows.. it cools off just from me cutting the car off for 1-2minutes.. I don’t know if it could be a fuse for the fans or what
forgot to mention it’s like my thermostat goes up with my speedometer, when i use cruise control it stays still and doesn’t overheat

If it’s isn’t overheating, why would you need to shut the car off? The car is overheating, one of the fans only turns on when your coolant isn’t enough to keep the engine “cool.” My 07 only overheats after idling/stuck in traffic for a while, but stays relatively cool while driving. Turn the heat all the way up/blast the fans/open vent and you won’t need to shut it off, works for me👍.

Had to buy a new radiator because the neck broke off installed it car still was overheating, so I replaced the thermostat and temp sensor still over heating but I noticed my fans don’t budge at all could that be my problem?

Wow I was just charged $228 for an Engine Fan Motor for my 2007 Honda Accord. Guy charged me $109.79 for what his paperwork reads to Remove and Replace condenser fan motor and has it down as LABOR, a new radiator cap for 17.38. Total bill was 395.00. I am basically a do it yourselfer and come to UA-cam and normally would never pay a mechanic for something that I could actually do, just didn’t have the time to the the job. Watched the video, know this job to be sorta easy to complete but do not understand why he wrote in his bill that he had to remove the condenser fan to do this job. Does anyone know if I’m mistaken here. Thx

They usually have a labor guide they go by. Was it an independent shop?

@@thomasfixit7931 yes it was, good mechanic who has taken care of me in the past and I actually just realized that the “ Engine fan motor” charge of 109 was actually the removing and replacement of the old part which is named differently on the invoice when described as “ parts cost”. I still think that $228 is a bit high for the part especially since I could have found the same OEM part on Amazon for $100 or less. It all boils down to I could have don’t his job myself and usually do but didn’t have the time. No big deal. It happens. Thanks again and keep putting good videos up.
