  • Honda Accord Radiator/Condenser Fan Assembly Replacement (2003-2007). In this video I show how to replace the radiator/condenser cooling fan assembly on a Honda Accord. Although the cooling fan motors can be replaced separately it is usually more cost effective to replace the entire cooling fan assembly. How to replace the radiator and condenser cooling fans on a Honda Accord. The exact vehicle in this video is a 2004 Honda Accord EX 2.4L sedan. 2007-2007 Honda Accords should be similar. Enjoy!

    I love your videos. So thorough. I have to change my radiator and fan assembly this weekend. Feeling pretty confident about the job after watching this. I hope it's nothing else like the water pump. Thank you!

    Thank you for another valuable video. I actually need this. My 2003 Honda Accord coupe is having this same issue right now; the radiator fan doesn't work while the condenser one does.

    TYC has improved over the years. I remember when they first came out they made really cheap parts. The ones I've bought in the past few years are much better. They're not Honda but are a good choice when cost is prohibitive. Great video as always!

    Thanks a lot for the video. I was just needing to replace the radiator fan motor. I just need to get to the 3 screws, but the are not accessible without removing the whole shroud and fan assy. (With my tools). Thanks again man.

    I replaced this on my accord about 2 or 3 months ago. Almost caused my engine to overheat. My gauge was probably almost 2/3 of the way to the far right. Luckily I noticed the gauge and immediately pulled over. Replaced it the same day . Easy and cheap (ish) job. But, I have a new issue, I I don't think it's from doing this work, but it's some sort of intermittent no start. I have power, battery terminals are clean and tight, and key fob is functional. When I try turning the key to the starting position it sometimes makes a "grinding?" Sound. Usually harder to start from a cold start. I'm guessing faulty ignition cylinder, but I don't want to fire the parts cannon with a lower budget

      @CamCanCars Рік тому +2

      If the starter motor itself is worn out, you may hear grinding under the hood where it engages with the flywheel/flex-plate. If the sound is in the dash and more of an electrical groan while turning key to start with no results, the ignition switch may be faulty. It is separate from the ignition cylinder and fairly inexpensive and simple to replace. Plenty of videos for it, but 6 screws under steering wheel and unplugging a connector is all it takes. Good luck!

    Probably want to test the new fans before spending all the time installing it. You just don’t know if the part is DOA. I wear one of those headlamps so I don’t have to hold the flashlight all the time.
