I sold my house about six months ago, and live between my boat and a small RV. I’m actually surprised at how much more I cook in my rig compared to what I did in my house... You’re absolutely right about the joy of cooking up some great food in an awesome spot. I’m pretty sure I saw your Westy in a parking lot recently. Too bad I didn’t see you so I could buy you a beer... Watching videos like yours helped give me the inspiration to begin living a freer, more mobile life.

Living The Van Life It was a month or so ago one evening in the Barkley Village parking lot. I’m based in the Anacortes area and spend a little time in Bellingham.

No need to sanitise ur spatula wen u put ur veggies. No cross contamination they've already crossed and the heat from cooking and using it to stir will kill any germs. Great vid I frickin luv it wen it snows

Just a few suggestions, onions first, then garlic, overcooked garlic gets bitter, then add your bell pepper and chicken, cook with a little olive oil instead of sesame oil, and i would use rice instead of tortillas. I always cook extra rice, and freeze the extra, and tomatoes would be great in that too!
both apple cider vinegar and white vinegar kill bacteria so I wipe everything down with that in the kitchen after working with raw meats, including my hands
Virtuality Victoria while vinegar does kill some bacteria it’s not all types also it only contains about 5% of the acid that does this. It’s not strong enough. It’s better to use a soap or other cleaner. I use it for swimmers ear so I’ve done a good amount of research. Nothing sucks worse than food poisoning.
I cut the ends off my garlic cloves, split them and remove the green stripe that runs down the middle. I read about doing this when making homemade hummus. Something to do with the bitterness of the green stripe.

Choose your oils for cooking/frying based on their smoke points. If the temp goes beyond the smoke point for a particular oil/fat (including butter), then it creates a toxic fume. The best oil for frying are those with high smoke points such as avocado oil. Olive oil is better for lower temps.

Always put your garlic in last so it doesn't burn it Cooks the fastest just a little tip for you
You cook the garlic first, just for a few seconds, then add the onions. The water in the onions IMMEDIATELY stops the garlic from burning.
Sesame oil is more of a seasoning than it is a "cooking" oil fyi.
