I passed my CBSE and score high in 70’s because of your advice and content. I strongly support your channel and others in my small study group have passed as well with your advice (5 people in the past 2-3weeks passed) so this is our donation as a group❤ thank you from all of us.
Ross University requires us to pass COMP-CBSE with a 62% prior to sitting for STEP1. Midterms are in-house exams while every end-of-semester final exam is directly generated by NBME.
Hi! I was just accepted as a transfer student into the clinical years at Ross. For the clinical years, what exams does ross use? Do I have to take comp 2 to sit for step 2?? Thank u in advance😊🙏🏼
Hi Lucy! I am actually one semester behind your schedule; I finish 2nd year in October and begin dedicated in November, therefore, I'm still unsure of the exam system during clinicals. I believe that for STEP2 the same rules apply and thus you must pass comp 2 prior to sitting for STEP2. @@lucyalvarez1288
I finally passed CBSE THANKS TO YOUR GUIDANCE. I take Step 1 in 3 weeks and am continuing to follow your advice with NBME's and your GOLD PDFs. THANK YOU!!!
Hello Dr Mike, I am 32 years old, and have only one chance to pass COMP. I wanted to schedule a time with you, but I can not afford it as Im living paycheck to paycheck. My comp is in 45 days or so. I need a 64% for COMP. I'm reaching out because I always see you replying to people on youtube here, and giving free pdfs, and it shows how much you genuinely want to help future physicians accomplish their dream. If I can have 30 min of your time for coaching as I feel lost in my final semester, please let me know, if not I understand, but I can't afford a meeting :(
Thank you for your advice, really sincerely appreciate all the tips. I know what to do now and definitely recommending your stuff to everyone, really impressed and truly grateful. Got 63 and 62 on NBME COMP and thought I was a lost cause. Going to do all the NBMEs as you said 20-31 and free 120, instead of doing UWorld a 2nd time. BIG thank you ! Time for my action plan and study schedule, got 1 month and 2 weeks before I forced to write again or game over.
Update : I passed with 76 % Thank you Dr. Mike, truly grateful. Im so happy I did well using your material and following your advice. Got my result July 3rd 2024, wrote June 29th at prometric center in Ottawa, Canada.
Hey Dr. Mike. Im at AUA, and our COMP is now Kaplan based. 280 questions. Im almost finished with the Kaplan qbank. With my COMP about a month away, do you recommend renewing my kaplan qbank or focus mainly on NBMEs 20-31, free 120? Thanks in advance.
Thanks so much for the clip. New commentor here, but I've been following your videos for a while and appreciate everything you do. Do you have any experience working with Muslim students trying to employ this schedule during Ramadan? I am writing the NBME comprehensive on April 17th, and this year, Ramadan is from March 11th-April 10th, meaning that for 3 out of the 4 weeks of this schedule, I won't be eating or drinking water from like, 5am-9pm. Most years, I flip my schedule upside down so that I'm doing my hardcore studying from 9pm onwards and start doing relatively mindless activities/taking naps once I start to run low on fuel, but the overall productivity for the month tends to be a hit or miss. Any 'tips/tricks' to ensure it's a hit, objections to studying for the comp. this way, or advice in general (though I don't carry the entitlement that you'll have thoughts on this specific a topic) will be put into action without question. Yours truly, Blind Follower ❤️
SGU transitioned back to CBSE starting January 2024, passing is 70%. No more internal Exam because many students are failing STEP even though its P/F or students are pushing back STEP 1 and taking LOAs
We got our results from CBSE yesterday and about 80% of the class failed the exam! We really don’t know what SGU will do because they don’t have enough clinical rotations for all the students who failed CBSE. Now, in may, another class will finish the first 2 years. So it will be my class and the new class trying to pass CBSE. The number of people is just accumulating! 😮 Thank you for your great content! ❤️
Thank you so much for this! Our school requires us to take COMP every month no matter where your grade is at, so this helped me see and plan my time with a lot more clarity. Absolutely love your content!

I’m aware. SGU will see most of its students fail CBSE by using cutoff of 70. Laughably high.

Haha you found the clip. Thank you
first video where mike actually laughs
😂
@mehlmanmedical I need to pick a question bank right now. Would you recommend Uworld or Amboss?
Any remembered/previous question to the CBSE?
Can I just memorize the questions without knowing the content for that question?
Or just go to aua they don’t do comp any more. I wonder why. 😂
