For my personal experience I had the biggest pick after I did UWORLD wrongs and then I declined very fast ..IDK was it stress or I just forgot things …than I did some PDF from Mike and things start coming back …
40-80/day in UWorld is standard. If you're really struggling to make inroads through Qbank, do 40/day + HY Arrows. Make sure you really know my HY Arrows pdf.
I appreciate your advice so much. I'm in a spot where I can navigate the questions relatively fine but I get stuck when it comes down to being able to remember important information, like Heme and Lymph pharm or most common cause of meningitis in kids. They're details, but they seem pretty high yield and I get stuck. Is that where reviewing material becomes important, and only focusing on getting an understanding of what a concept is and how it can be utilized in the real world?
what do you think is better, doing 40 questions in a day but reviewing them completely or 80 questions (still reading the explanations but not being thorough), thanks doc
80 in most cases, even if you feel your retention is more cursory. Score augmentation is a quantity game over quality one, even if that sounds counterintuitive to most people.
Dr Mike you are a USMLE God. You rock brother. We all owe so much to you. 😊

Agreed ! Because most of wrongs are difficult or unimportant concepts. And they go on wrong . I declined too after doing wrongs.
@@nerdy2195 IDK what is it but it happens …

You’re absolutely right. Thank you
Appreciate man! You're the master. When I make it(which I will) I owe you.
How practice questions if I don’t have any foundation ….
