Holy freakin cow!!! I made these tacos tonight and they were fantastic. I made 30 of these things and there is none left and people want more. Thank you for sharing this recipe. 👍👍👍👍
Hi guys! I’m new here! I love cooking on my Blackstone! Great looking tacos! Omg...that crunch! Love empanadas! Background music was a nice touch. I liked, subbed, and rang the bell 🛎 Glad to be a supporter of your channel. This is DaBomb Smokes! Peace out ✌️
Wow, thanks so much man! We really appreciate it - switching from food reviews to Blackstone cooking has given us new life! We love these things, and will have plenty more coming! 🤙💪
Awesome! Adam and I were talking, we are gonna grab some cast-iron skillets - they seem to do a bit better than my pan did. Still fun! Thanks so much!🤙
Love your videos! We use our 17" griddle on camping trips as well as at home. When using it at home we bought the large tank to griddle hose adaptor so that we wouldn't go through as many of the 1 pound tanks.
Hey Brett! Good job. Those looked so good. And the crunch!! That sounded as good as it tasted I bet. Who can say NO to tacos...come on :) I am sure you love your toy there. How much are you cooking on that? Are you using it pretty much every day as well? What would you say is your favorite thing to cook on the Blackstone? I look forward to when you guys can cook together as well. Hope you had a great weekend. Take care and God bless!
ZacknDad Thank you so much for the love! Yes, they were amazing, and all got devoured here at the Waltwin house! I am cooking just about Everyday on this thing!!! It makes cooking so much fun. So far these tacos are definitely one of my favorites, But aside from breakfast, my favorite thing to cook is a special grilled cheese sandwich with turkey, bacon, tomato, and avocado! It is a three cheese grilled cheese sandwich. That video will be happening sometime in the near future!
@@kissbrettdouglas I am hungry just hearing about that sandwich. Looking forward to it. That ranch dip looked amazing as well. We don't have the restaurant up here, but I am sure that dipping sauce is a HUGE hit! Have a great night! See you on the next one!
Do you find much difference in cooking on the small griddle vs the larger one? Aside of the obvious size difference, is it any harder to control the temperature when having a hot and cool side? Thanks
Thank you so much for watching! Brett has the 22, and he has mentioned it seems to cook hotter, since there isn't much room, there isn't much of a "cool" side. However, I'll reach out to him to drop a comment so he can chime in!
The best thing I have found is that both surfaces are pretty forgiving and make cooking easy and fun! I have found that my “hot zone” is pretty much in the same place as on Adam’s, just a smaller scale. I hope this answered your question, if not, let me know. Please reach out with any questions you have!🤗🤙🏻
You’re doing awesome! Thanks so much and I want to totally devour everything out cook but I have one child who is Anorexic and is super conscious of ingredients and another who is Celiac so while listing the groceries if you could offer ideas for substitutes I’d really appreciate it. Thanks and please keep having fun... it’s contagious.
Thank you so much for watching! We will take note of this great suggestion and try to list alternatives for sure! We really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment! Much love fam!🤙🤙
I could be wrong but I really think you could have done a shallow fry directly on the cook top I think cause I do something similar with a pan on the stove.
Great vid Brett, got a couple of suggestions for you, that might make it come together easier. First, instead of a coffee cup, you might use a metal can, to cut your tortillas, less chance it'll break and send ceramic shards into your wrist, if you find one the right size, that you can cut both ends out of, you can use it for other things on the griddle as well. Second, instead of toothpicks, use those cheap clothespins from the dollar store, they aren't varnished, or stained, the ones with the spring in the middle, they will hold your tacos closed better, and when shallow frying like that, they give you a handle to pull them out. Also, if you look for Mission's, "Street Taco", flour tortillas, you might not need to cut them at all. Thanks for the video!!!
Thank you so much for watching and for these amazing suggestions! We actually are getting ready (soon) to re-shoot a video of the crunchy tacos, and we will take these all into account. Take care and thank you again!

Haha! That is amazing!! So happy it worked out. Sorry for those who were left wanting...😜
4 Seasons BBQ Did you do the Creamy Jalapeño Ranch, too??? So happy you did it!!! These are a staple here! 🤗
Another awesome recipe for the Blackstone! Love it!
Yay!! So as you approve!🤗🤗
Wow those little tacos looked amazing I've got to make some of these. Great video.
Thank you so much! They are amazing, and so simple to make! Much easier to do the oil on the stovetop, but way not fun to do it all on the griddle! 😄🤙
@@waltwins lol good to know

In Dr Evil voice...”and I will call it MINI tacos...throw me a bone here...” man those look amazerful
Hahaha!!! Thant’s the best! And I totally hear you doing the voice!!
Those look so yummy. My question is where are you finding tortillas? Around here those went the way of paper products.
Oh wow! I’ll have to check here - I n know Brett has had way more luck in Gainesville even with paper products. Crazy!
Those look insanely good my friend.
Thank you so much fam! They were so good!!🔥🔥
I recently got a griddle. I can relate to looking for reasons to use it!
Oh for sure, thank you for watching and chiming in fam!!🤙🤙
Awesome.
(I use the metal cookie cutters in different sizes. Might be a bit easier than the cup)
Yes, great call! We have been getting some great recommendations - we will be doing this one again soon! GRIDDLE ON!🔥🔥🤙🤙

You are correct! We hadn’t yet done the shallow fry before Brett made these mini tacos - we have done it a few times since - excellent!🤙🤙
@@waltwins have not tried your version but I am going too
SmileDogz featuring Rookie Smoke.....definitely trying this recipe
Boom bro! Awesome,
Let us know how it turns out! Thanks so much for watching!!🤙🤙
I’ve heard that using a foil baking pan would help speed up the frying process
