The problem is AMT, they don't know how to do a descent kit or even the replicas, that's why so many people prefer revell, good job my friend on this video...
Good sharpening those panel lines, I could see the detailings.
Great job man
Great work bud!
Nice job and thanks for the heads up on the kits incorrect fender moldings to movie car. I'll remember to remove those
Can we get this remake now? Please. Love your channel, been watching for years
Great video! I have learned so much by these step by step videos. Thank you!
Maybe I have missed it, but have you built any of the 1:16 size models? I am just starting the General Lee model (which I would love you to do. 😉) and am not sure if I should get a bigger needle to airbrush the body.
I have a pretty nice kit its a 1/ 16 69 Charger and its the General Lee the car from the tv show dukes of hazard. It's like a foot long. but I recommend it also its by mpc
Geen punt toch de spatbordranden! Blijft een gaaf ding!
have you used that moloto (?) liquid chrome stuff? also it would be cool to do a stock eclipse some time
Wouldn't using gloves during primer sanding help ensure no oils onto the primer for basecoat application? Or maybe degreasing before basecoat application?
Maybe you can turn this car into the Death Proof Charger. That one is flat black and looks very roughed up in the final chase scene so removing the trim shouldn't be that bad. You would need to change the wheels and hood though. Just a thought!
I'm just starting to build models again, I heard you mention mold lines, I'm doing a 66 Chevy Fleet side pick up, and I don't see any mold lines, is this unusual, and are they very obvious to see? the kit is made by Revell, if that matters.
It compares FAF Dom's Charger and tokyo drift sean's '67 mustang with s15 engine swap.
Good Afternoon Scalemodeler, I have been using Gravity primer and I find it to be cumbersome to mix up especially when I only need a small amount of it. I also have problems with crazing. Do you think that I would have fewer problems if I were to switch to Zero Paints primer?
+Michael McNeive zero is abit darker grey, if you aply it to thick it will craze. Both of them will as they are solvent based paints
Wouldn’t wet sanding have been better after 3 rd coat of primer?
do you ever have problems with the primer building up in panel lines and recesses?. I'm applying light coats, but still get some bubbling in panel lines and recesses like the front grill inserts and rear bumpers. Maybe I'm still not spraying light enough. I'm spraying at about 30 psi. Thanks!
+caudleryan123 sounds like its still to thick
I think Revell is supposed to release a stock '70 Charger.
Noooo I missed the notification... :(
I have a question, why did my flat black spray paint keep bubbling, and my gloss black paint also bubbled, except is seemed like it was just too thin. I shakes the can well and heated it up, I washed the body with dish soap and everything.
+Kyle Sagun you apply it to thick or used the wrong cleaner.
The Scalemodeling Channel oh..... oops lol, I know it wasn't the too thick thin because I tried to do it thin, which made it look watery then it bubbled and ran.
Does anybody know about how much a full bottle of zero paints weighs? I am trying to figure out how much I can order without being charged more for shipping.
why not ask the shop you want to order it from?
Do you film everything then upload one video everyday?
The build is not yet done, i do as much as i can during the week and try uploading atleast saterday and sunday and if i can i will do extra video's
I see. FYI, it is Saturday with a u
How much pressure on the panel lines as you pass over them?
+boxbuyer2008 almost non
how close you keep the airbrush to the model when spray
michael jansen 4 of 5 cm
The Scalemodeling Channel think i have sprayd to far about 10 cm .
gets bit to korrelig .
i try spray closer now
What scribing tool are you using?
yellowhouseclub from facebook
The Scalemodeling Channel oh that was quick - thanks!
btw keep up the good work! :)
