    Putting the tub in place is always the part that gets me. They never seem to fit. Forcing the issue results in breakings pieces or having some fall off.
    Great build as always TOM.
    Learning a lot!

    Great work! If "we are" on filmes scene, why you don't make the 1969 Dodge Charger of General Lee? Good chalange, with that paint work lines and star, etc., etc.,😊

    You say you would do some body and interior changes had you noticed them earlier, what would they be? I'm trying to compare photos of this kit with ones of the 1st F&F movie and the details are subtle, just headlights n such. Can you shed some light on this?
    Thank you your work is incredible.

      Well the dash is in correct, the decals fix this mostly, but not entirely. the wheel arches are incorrect, so are the door panels end even the seats, i think the steering wheel was off aswell.

    So just to get my head around this, your prefered method to chrome parts is to primer the part and then apply a clear coat and then a gloss black and then a second clear coat?
    Another question I have about using the Alclad Chrome, would it make a difference if I say used a high gloss dark teal color instead of black? The effect I am after is more of a bluish tint but not sure if that would come through as I have never used the Alclad chrome paint before.

    • @TheScalemodelingChannel
      @TheScalemodelingChannel  6 років тому +1

      No, prime. Black. Clear. Chrome
      Ive never tried it like that

    • @kevinm3751
      @kevinm3751 6 років тому

      Thanks thats why I asked because I thought that is what I heard you say. At about :55 you said you could just use a base coat clear coat, prime it, paint it in some black and clearcoat it. So was not sure I heard that right as I have not heard of clear coat under a first coat of paint either.

    Why not spray the chrome paint on the trim pieces you want to chrome? Wouldn't that give a much nicer finish than applying the chrome foil?

      It will come out silver, not chrome.

    Hi Tom
    What pin material are you using for the door handle?
    Also, is it the same when you do mirrors?
    How about a separate video on this procedure?
    Thanks as always.
