Pretty sure Charlie is more than capable of defending the Hotel, if push came to shove. This marks the I think 3rd time this season we've seen Charlie's anger flare up, and I have to imagine seeing Adam hurt Vaggie would push her over the edge.
I wonder if Charlie will ask Lucifer for help in defending the Hotel, though maybe Lucifer is either forbidden or unwilling to attack other Angels? Even though watching Lucifer pull off Adam's wings and leave him stranded in Hell would be AMAZING.
There are two things I'm still wondering.
1. Where Eve is in all this?
2. What Lilith is really up to?
As well as do the two of them both being absent have anything to do with each other because I mean if Lilith made contact with Eve it is not like Adam would pay enough attention to notice.
I wouldn't say Husk is acting like a sponsor, but more so as a supportive friend. Sponsors are sober for a certain time before they have a sponsee. It's clear Husk has no interest in being sober because he doesn't care about getting into heaven. However, he cares a lot about Angel Dust getting into heaven, hence why he's pushing Angel toward sobriety rather than himself.
Whats really funny is even tho emily isnt the high seraphim she still outranks adam, so she could tell him to stop the extermination

She may be higher than Adam, but Sara is higher than Emily, and she approved the extermination. It is like being a manager, not liking what their employees are doing, but your CEO / board member decisions to allow it to continue. She can't tell Adam to stop without getting Sara to not overrule her decision.

I wonder if Adam is also wearing a mask and if we will ever see him without it. Because he looks quite different from everyone else. Man, I hate Adam but I gotta admit I love a well written villain. Actually, I think he's mostly just a dick but still well written. My favorite line in this song is "The rules are shades of grey when you don't do as you say." That is a life quote if I must say. Luci was right Heaven has a lot of rules and questioning those rules is not allowed.

Since we also see the silhouette of Lucifer and Llith and they are acurate to how the actualy look then I think Adam is wearing a mask

She rides the line that maybe I wouldn't even consider evil tbh like there's no real answer and all she knows is that demons outnumber them 10 to 1 plus have no morality
@@TheMadVari The sinner demons are mostly fairly weak save the overlords. They rank higher because they have a soul and can make contracts. The overlords are extremely powerful. I imagine Alastor could rip an Excorcist to shreds.
I wouldn`t even really say Sera`s evil, more so brainwashed by Heaven`s rules and moral absolutism plus wanting to keep her daughter from falling like Lucifer did that Adam and the Exorcists took advantage of her fear of a demon uprising. She`s clearly not a fan of the Exorcists` sadism at the very least.
@@minuette1752 In many ways, Sera`s basically the Heavenly equivalent of Carmilla. Carmilla killed an exorcist to protect her daughters and Sera is reluctantly allowing the exterminations to protect her "daughter".

Concerning the timeline: That was actually revealed in the previous episode already. Remember Charlie stating rather annoyed in their phone call how she had told her dad about the hotel in their previous call five months (!) ago already (that call must have been when Lucifer called her in ep. 1, btw).

@@TheMadVari Yup. Even thinking that because Vaggie was one of the "top girls," she and Lute could have been friends. Maybe not best friends, but at least respected colleagues. Lute's treatment of Vaggie may have been especially harsh because of that, as she felt especially betrayed by one of her peers. And Vaggie would feel especially betrayed that a friend could do those things to her. Dinner table all laid out for some serious beef. Think Sunday pot roast!
Its nice that only Adam is the only real asshole we see in heaven. None of the other angels really seem against demons and are willing to hear charlies proposal out.

There is no way Sera wasn't aware of what Adam was doing, maybe with more intent than she let on. Her tone & demeanor shifted during the lyrics "To do what was required" (the smile & fire in her eyes), then denying Sinners redemption even after all the evidence. Heaven's gotta have the dirtiest of laundry.
WTF is going on that's keeping these redeemed Sinners' souls from Heaven, while angels like Adam and Exorcists aren't being flung down to Hell? Lucifer was cast out for doing much less. Lilith's (and probably Eve's) "sins" were considered worthy of damnation.
Adam may have been the first human soul in Heaven, but what qualified him? Didn't he eat of the same apple as Eve?
Maybe the murder of Sinners/fellow human souls is why Adam has those giant horns too.
Last edit - If you've seen the Hazbin Hotel trading cards, there's a rare "location" card that links up with Adam's promise & threat to the upcoming extermination.

Angel was amazing in this episode! Seeing him standing up to Valentino and up for his friends, plus watching out for Nifty, was fantastic. Cherri was a bit too much of an enabler for my taste but I liked her interactions with Pentious.
Emily is quickly becoming one of my favourite characters but I want to wait and see what happens next. "You Didn't Know" is one of the best songs so far. It has the most Broadway feel imo.

Her name a Molly , and if you really pay attention to their names they both have drugs as their names ( angel dust and Molly ) , there’s a theory saying they both died at the same time the same way but she didn’t go to hell with angel , she went to heaven.
Part of me wants to see the literal and metaphorical hell Adam and Co. would encounter at the Hazbin Hotel a month later trying for extermination. The way things stand, Lucy is going to fight back just based on wanting his daughter safe, Alastor will be happy to let off steam and get some angel snacks *and he knows Carmilla knows how to kill angels* and Vaggie is pretty much guranteed to be ready to throw down with her 'ex colleagues' in an attempt to make up for keeping that from Charlie... and whatever Lilith is doing in the background (and no need to doubt that she hates heaven) is alos there for the exterminators to worry about. Sounds like a party, do be sure to be the first to join Adam.

THIS IS SO INTERESTING ACTUALLY, I don't know if it's true but I've seen people saying that supposedly this version of Adam never took a bite from the fruit of knowledge, and when we see Eve in the intro sequence she is alone, and on her knees almost looking like she is lost or grieving. If Adam in this story died before evil found its way into Earth and the elders cast Lucifer and Lilith into hell, Adam would just go to heaven by default and not even understand that he's behaving sinfully in the first place (compounded with the fact that the angels are clearly giving him preferential treatment and letting him act like this while acting shocked when Charlie swears, my guy probably really thinks he has never made a mistake in his freaking life)

That's probably right! In the earlier designs of Molly, she looked a lot like this, but she was supposed to be a sinner. But I've heard that the creators very vaguely stated that Molly is dead, but not in hell. So since this version has a striking resemblance to Molly’s sinner-design, we can probably very sure! It would also be interesting if Angel/ Anthony and her know about each other’s whereabouts. It could be a reason why Angel wants to redeem himself. (Although I don't think that Molly knows about him...yet)

I think in the final fight Emily will go to God and he will be the one to stop Adam and Lute and condemn them to become sinners and have to repent at the hotel to return to heaven. Because in this episode, it is said that no one knows what determines whether a soul goes to heaven or hell, only that it passes a divine judgment which confirms that God is indeed in the series. This would be the best way to introduce it and a perfect punishment for Adam and Luth convinced that redemption is impossible. And also maybe the archangels because I really think they will be because Lucifer has 6 wings like the seraphim but he is clearly not one after seeing Sera and Emily the most logical thing is that he is a archangel and therefore that there would be others like Michael

The thing that gets me with this episode is all the little pieces of information that Sarah drops:
Adam was the one that suggested the extermination in the first place.
Sarah leaves that the Denison of hell were preparing for an uprising.
And she is desperate for all of the stuff to continue because questioning it, and possibly even proving it wrong means everything she did was pointless, cruel, and overall evil.
The thing is. I’ve got to ask, who told Sarah that the Denison of hell were preparing an uprising?
Because of her answer is Adam, then that could very well mean that Adam is responsible for manipulating Sarah and causing this whole thing for entertainment.
I got a feeling that a certain queen of hell might’ve lied her way into heaven with the info we are looking for

I cant be the only one to notice that adam looks more like a demon than an angel. He looks nothing like the other angels and has demonic traits. He has the horns, fangs and claws, i think he went to hell but was brought to heaven cause it would look bad for heaven if the first man went to hell. I also think he will be sent back to hell leaving him with no other option than the hotel to get back to heaven.
He also has wings on the lower portion of his body unlike the others

Also, my own theory is that Adam doesn't give a damn about hell. What he does care about is making his ex pissed off, so all this could all come down to him being a scorned and titanically petty ex boyfriend.

There seems to me a big mistake in the storytelling. Having an angel killed by a demon was a concern to Adam because they did not want hell to know angels could be killed. They also tried to kill Vaggy which would have showed demons that angels could die. In the last episode Adam realized their own weapons could kill angels, yet he would have known that since they tried to kill Vaggy with their own weapons.
Sara knew they have no control over who makes it to heaven, so why did they think Adam did? "Sticking it to the man" is also a bad qualification.
I believe the big thing was sinners couldn't kill, angels so the fact one did was unheard of almost like sinners had less power then those with holy powers not that angels couldn't die

the sinners are definitely innocent in the sense that they don’t deserve to be exterminated by angels. they may be in hell but that doesn’t justify heaven coming down and slaughtering everyone in a violent genocide, the punishment is hell, not erasure. idk i just think the wording is kinda important when you’re dealing with something like mass execution.

if you’re going to punish them, only to kill them again, there is no point for hell at all.
if the goal is to redeem souls and or provide forgiveness then what the angels are doing is wrong and the system is based on lies and is unfair.
I must admit, i really disappointed of CherryBomb. in this episode she's really bad friend to Angel, even toxic.
its not just she's trying to ruin Angel's progress. its that she's teally didnt there for HIM, only for her enjoyment.
from the beginning, Angel want to stay in the hotel and she's convinced him to join her. she's talking about him sending her 'depressive 3hit all day'. and then when he venting in the club she's tell him to stop.
its not a good friend's behavior. Angel is need to talk about his hard time. but all she want is to have fun. she's not there for him in his lowest and not comforting him. I know Addict is not cannon anymore, but I really love her there. there she was with Angel even when he wasn't "fun". in this episode... i want to believe she is cared about him. but its really not seems the case. she dosen't let him be himself: frustrated, tired, need to vent. its makes episode 4 even more sad. it's seens like Angel need to put his mask in front of her too.
With how long of a history they have it’s probably baked into there friendship that this is how they both cope with how they deal with things. Not to mention Angel admits to not being clean or following the program well
To be fair after she realizes that Angel is serious about his redemption, she tells him, “you do you” and is supportive afterwards
she didn’t think he was serious about redemption or changing, and wanted him to enjoy himself and forget his problems, and sees him having to parent as interrupting that
she is not a bad friend, she jsut didn’t think he was serious
and once she saw he was, she tells him she’s not interested for herself, but if it works for him he should do it.

It's not clear to me this is a Christian universe, as Lilith is a figure from Jewish mythology (and "God" as a character, Christian or Jewish, has not really come up, other than in swears). Adam was very much pre-Jesus, and is implied he was never in Hell, so he was redeemed without Jesus intervening.
